30/8/2017 23:18 | Promising"She will try and find out. I know that the South Koreans are leaders in skincare and they absolutely love that stuff." | dmk1198
30/8/2017 22:56 | I actually have an con ex-colleague who lives there (in Sth Korea)and speaks very good english too .... However, I dont have the name of the product that is sold over there and so dont know what to ask her. I am told that that the market is indeed huge over there, so much so she actuallt responded to me sacarstically.... Anyway,ányone know the name of the product? | jam4u2
30/8/2017 21:32 | Repeat buyers of ST are more likely to buy on-line than in-store and on that basis I would surmise in-store purchases as a % of all purchases is ultimately going to fall over time (assuming a significant proportion repurchase) | quant_investor

30/8/2017 16:14 | Sometimes I ask myself what %age of sales through Superdrug would be online?10% or nearer 20%??Then I say if Skinny Tan sell 250 products online a day for a month @ an average of £11 a product. (This evens out the small purchase price of mitts with the larger £30 bogof purchases) what is the total SD sales ?@10% £825k a month@20% £415k a monthI have tracked 250 sales a day many times sometimes it's been over 400 a day. | croasdalelfc
30/8/2017 15:40 | Guys my friends married to a south Korean girl, anything research wise or translation wise I could ask her to see if skinny bright is getting awareness ,good reviews, sales etc? Happy to ask | dmk1198
30/8/2017 13:46 | Even If we assume record sales of around £1.3m for July and August this run rate would have to be miaintaned as move into the colder autumn months to hit £8m for H1. That would require HC and the gang to convice the ladies their goosebumps will look better if bronzed. Let's see what your tracking shows as we move into Sept (thanks in advance!) This is all based on the premise that sales are based primarily on U.K. ST revenue. It might be the case that IDP are managing to 'shoot the lights out' in Korea (before Kim Jong-un does likewise) and if so the calculations might all change... | quant_investor

29/8/2017 09:20 | I.think roots could be a mega hit for idp. We need to get the message to people that its available. I actually yhink a bit of money spent on a professional advert and little bit of print advertising will hopefully get the word out. Im not so sure its an impulse purchase myself as its a product that takes months to have a recognisable effect. And i think that if people are on impulse mode they are wanting the quick fix and happy chemical release that comes from instant pleasure from th product. Once we have explained the story and educated the consumer to the benifits of roots and that they are some how lacking if they dont maintine their youthful hair then they will be buying it in droves. We.just need to invest in getting the benifits of roots out there. Also the slower effects of roots against say skinny tan will also mean a slower posiytive reaction to the products effects. But once people see the results ans get the odd comment 'wow your hair looks good lately' etc.. we will own them forever. HC has stated that we are in the vanity sector. And i feel that sector is growing and growing. People.just reduse to except aging these days. And Roots are targetting anyone who wants younger healthier hair. From what i can gather thats a big market. | thelongandtheshortandthetall |
