At those numbers I'd expect shipping to a retailer. Or maybe to the UK for when they start the DTC. However I'd expect larger quantities and the UK stock would probably be manufactured here as well.

Steviek website suddenly reduced stock overnight on the 10 lipsticks - they went from 2000 each to between 1750 and 1950 - not sure why but it's possible they filled an order from stock or have reduced stock from their DTC channel to fill another stockist request . It was about $50k worth of stock

boon It does have psychological effect on the individual who is in an indeterminate state whether to buy/sell/hold. In my opinion this kind of psychology plays in the hands of MM's and I agree with teddy on that.

p.s. this is exactly the sort of thing some posters do here to try to influnence the price to suit their ulterior motives. Won't mention names but most here know who they are!

What does it really matter if a trade 8s classed as a buy or a sell? Fundamentals and business performance will dictate what the future price is. Not whether people are selling or buying now.

Can all those on here who keep pointing out to me that the LSE listed trades cannot possibly be wrong- please take note!

M m's are devious . They are not our friends!

In future; I would suggest that anyone who effects a large buy (say £5000 or more)notifys the forum of the fact.I will log these and if it is happening a lot (which I suspect that it is) I will contact the FSA and ask them to investigate

teddy, only a couple of small points 1) you resend the same post two or three times - finger trouble? 2) you use comma instead of an apostrophe, e.g. MM,s instead of MM's.

Following on from my previous post- when the buying demand is huge ,the m m,s no longer need to create a market for THEMSELVES and hence they do not need to drop the share price.

When investing in popular shares such as IPD (with an active forum ) it is very helpful if you can put yourself in the mindset of the mm,s They have a lot more influence on the day to day share price than all the other factors put together! When you learn this lesson it really helps with important buying and selling decisions.IT WORKS FOR ME!

Good point ,Doc! |||There now seems to be general agreement about the shortage of IPD stock.

I can only see the demand increasing between now and the monthly sales update/full year results so hopefully when we get to the happy stage where the mm,s are overwhelmed (the only time that THEY are not in control!) I can see the price really motoring ahead (and not before time, if there is any justice!)
