24/8/2017 08:24 | Great point boonboon. Roots is certainly a product that all races could use. Unlike tan and whitening etc. Very good posts boys. Very much appreciated!! | thelongandtheshortandthetall
24/8/2017 08:24 | The exclusivity probably applies to chain retailers. Skinny tan is sold in beauty salons after all. | boonboon
24/8/2017 08:19 | great posts, thanks all | the patient investor
24/8/2017 08:19 | Boon - good point about salons for Roots - though there is an initial exclusivity deal with SD | croasdalelfc
24/8/2017 08:15 | Quant - There should be a full operational update at the time of the results-I expect they will say US sales in lineRoots sales exceedSkinny Bright - in linePlus they will probably announce new European and American retailers/etailersPl | croasdalelfc
24/8/2017 07:58 | Nice one Croas. I'm also hoping HC has kept a little of his powder dry and will report final figures slightly in excess of previous guidance. I am also hoping he will report a brisk start to H2 trading. More specifically I would like to see evidence the company is transitioning away from being a one producr / one territory company. It's possibly too early to expect anything more than an 'encouraging early start' to sales of Roots but I'm hoping we will hear sales of ST are taking off in the US (or Europe) and/or we are gaining traction in Asia with the skin brightening product. The latter, in particular, would ignite the share price | quant_investor
24/8/2017 07:36 | We get the results for FY17 on 12th September and I for one expect full year results to exceed those stated on 19 June - rem HC wants to exceed expectations - so my prediction is revenue £9.2m and PBT £1.35mFor the next 6 months July to Dec 17, I expect revenue to be approx £8m giving growth in H1 of 150% and profit of £1m+ . So were is the extra revenue going to come from?Skinny Tan and Body Glow : £7.5m and the other brands £0.5m.I've tried to list the growth drivers in H1 below: I'm sure there are many more - maybe you guys can add to them....Skinny Tan and Body GlowFull 6 months Etailer sales Asos (5 months) Lookfantastic, Feelunique , the Hut groupFull 6 months sales in Boots.ie and 65 Boots storesFull 6 months of Body Glow range in SDrugFull 6 months of extended range in SDrug of ST, remember Jan 17 there were just 11 products now there are 20+ Body GlowProduct extensions including Body Glow milk and Skinny Tan Salon Effects - maybe 3 months.Full 6 months of sales of the professional range - with many many new salon stockists of STI think there will also be further product extensions for Xmas - gift packs - gift vouchers - even make up - St Tropez does make up ! Other Brands:Full 6 months of C+L sales - admittedly very small4.5 months of Stevie K -likely to be very small6 months of Skinny Bright - unknown revenue - could be anything from £10k to £1m4.5 months of Roots - unknown revenueLeimo unknown.Share Price : I would expect a Forward EPS forecast for June 18 of 20-25p with an share price of 500p by Xmas.If any of the other brands gains significant traction/growth - by significant I mean 5-10% of group sales - then the PER could easily go to 30+ and the share price 700p.My hope is that I am patient enough to wait 2 years before selling my shares - I fully expect the share price to be over 1200p - implying profits of £5m+Just my musing on a very savvy company which weekly shows it's ambition to growth qu | croasdalelfc

24/8/2017 02:49 | I'm having a break in the Lake district that week so can't attend. Unfortunate as I love an excuse to go to London. | wahlberg
23/8/2017 21:12 | Im not going. Maybe next uear if possible. | thelongandtheshortandthetall
23/8/2017 19:44 | On ASOS I see they are discounting all St Tropez stock. Are they selling it out to replace with SkinnyTan (Pure speculation on my part). I notice too that the Skinny Tan range is firmly in the more expensive range too, so it would be interesting to see how it is selling at ASOS. | jam4u2
23/8/2017 19:32 | No one replied - is anyone going to the presentation on 13th Sept? | jam4u2

23/8/2017 14:01 | But also the website stated that hair growth in women test group was 88% versus 10% for men.The actual science is always a bit dubious in 'treatments' like this but I've never really looked into it as I have a full head of thick hair at 51 .On the other hand the ex missus started using Alpecin caffeine shampoo when an early menopause started at 45 | croasdalelfc
23/8/2017 13:07 | Croas - but procapil is there to prevent the conversion of Testosterone into androgen (DHT) which is the primary cause of hair loss in men. As men have more testosterone than women - it will be men who would be the primary beneficiaries.Combin | ihatemms
23/8/2017 12:41 | Very low volumes to-day so the M M's are taking advantage( reducing the share price to accumulate stock!) | teddy boy1
23/8/2017 12:00 | I have to say it......good point remark! Although their main marketing tool seems to be social media and they are very good at that. | melf
23/8/2017 11:48 | Thanks for that Melf - all goodFB message from Roots :Roots now has a four product on Superdrug.com. The fifth -conditioner- will be on sale soon .It's on sale in 390 Superdrug stores - | croasdalelfc |
