08/5/2009 11:54 | Satellite sector was tipped to me by a hedge fund manager in Jan this year. He liked the look of Eutelsat more than ISAT - but looks like ISAT is the one to go for. | dasv
08/5/2009 10:25 | Almost back up to pre Oct highs.... I like holding quality shares! | eipgam

07/5/2009 12:44 | Goldman Sachs Buy Reiteration Target 721.00p | enami
06/5/2009 15:53 | They'll be fine.I wonder if Harbinger are padding about and that's the reason behind the magnitude of the rise. | steeplejack
06/5/2009 15:24 | The surge continues, top gainer on the FTSE100, not a huge volume. I suspect Friday's results have been leaked and insiders buying in. | enami
06/5/2009 14:42 | Creeping up to touch the top of trend channel (530). Wave 5 started at 50/200MA crossover. 100/200MA crossover imminent. Fib target 563 | enami
06/5/2009 13:30 | Nicely ahead today and hit a new high for the year. AGM statement yesterday OK. Results Friday and XD next week. Bit of a wonky start last Friday but now almost at top of price channel established recently (see cxhart previous post). Profit sliced at 522. | enami
03/4/2009 08:29 | Pretty good rise yesterday and hit my target. Sold half my stock to pay bills and still just within CGT limit. Running out of steam at the top of the trend channel? | enami
30/3/2009 12:22 | RNS - New Distribution Contracts with Stratos "Inmarsat has an option to acquire Stratos, which it expects to exercise, on or around 15 April 2009." | enami

12/3/2009 09:32 | Doing OK, up through the 200MA (449.56) and top gainer on the FTSE100. Volume picking up. | enami
12/3/2009 08:31 | Chart target just over 500 is reasonable I think. December high 485.25 the initial target, WEEKLY CHART | enami
12/3/2009 07:09 | Excellent figures topping consensus.Looks to be steady as she goes.Dividend yield of 3% on final alone | steeplejack
05/3/2009 12:56 | I hope not, they seem pretty well set on the eventual takeover. I added last month when they dipped below 400 on the basis any deal will be over 500. From Harbinger's point of view this must be attractive as last year the USD/GBP exchange rate was over 2.00 and now at 1.40 will cost them far less. | enami
05/3/2009 12:47 | Interesting. But are they the Harbingers of Doom? | wad collector
05/3/2009 11:51 | So not an offer just an update on the regulatory process. "Harbinger does not expect there to be any material change to the timetable for obtaining the Inmarsat Change of Control Application as a result of such separate processing. The approval process for the Inmarsat Change of Control Application is ongoing, and Harbinger's expectation remains, as stated in the 25 July 2008 announcement, that approval is likely to take approximately 12-18 months from the date of that announcement." Last July when they first announced a possible offer the share price spiked to 557. Results coming up next week 12 March | enami
05/3/2009 11:03 | Whoosh! We have lift off - or perhaps not | phillis
05/3/2009 11:01 | THAT'S WHAT WE WANTED TO SEE | enami
27/2/2009 21:15 | Those satellites must be laughing at us poor idjits down here watching the stock market crumble, but they remain nearly as aloof as the IMAT share price One of my few winners.... | wad collector
12/2/2009 09:46 | Tremendous points swing today. I wonder if the satellite collision story has anything to do with it. "Iridium Satellite LLC confirmed today that one of its satellites was destroyed Tuesday in an unprecedented collision with a spent Russian satellite and that the incident could result in limited disruptions of service." Iridium satellites are a Low Earth Orbit constellation and any debris will not affect Inmarsat. The satellites are in a near-polar orbit at an altitude of 485 miles (780 km). The 66 active satellites fly in formation in six orbital planes, evenly spaced around the planet, each with 11 satellites equally spaced apart from each other in that orbital plane. | enami |
