11/12/2017 11:54 | Will this go sub 450pps before close of play today? Surely Goldman's 580pps forecast MUST add a bit of support............ won't it? | badger60
11/12/2017 11:49 | Yep..... nearly all the ISAT broker forecasts look like they are being submitted by cretins. | badger60
11/12/2017 11:34 | I can't see them finding support until 4.00. | andyj
11/12/2017 11:09 | Shorts started to close towards end of last week. They must be delighted that Goldmans have removed ISAT from the conviction buy list, good opportunity to close back a few more.Tentatively carrying the Vodaphone analogy further,it was Goldmans who removed Vodaphone from their conviction buy list when the price slumped to around 85p some 15 years ago.It signalled a good entry point.Goldmans are big and influential but when it comes to stock recommendations they move like an oil tanker. Disclosed positions in INMARSAT PLC (ISAT) Notice: We no longer track disclosures after they drop below 0.5%. It is possible that the manager still holds a short position even if we are showing it as zero. 11/12/2017 11:06 | I bought a few more OPHR and PMO earlier.........to celebrate my HUR profit, and my astute cutting of losses on ISAT......... | badger60
11/12/2017 10:38 | Wonder how those Directors that bought recently are feeling? Bet they're wondering if they'll still have jobs this side of Christmas? Anybody know who AQR are? | penycae
11/12/2017 10:34 | Well done badger60! | penycae
11/12/2017 10:27 | Mongo#2649You'll be delighted to know that I sold HUR this morning for circa £18 k profit.......and I would now be losing £4k+ if I was still holding Inmarsat.Have you ever made money investing/ trading the stockmarket?Perhaps you may well be advised to read the latest Numis ISAT forecast again......... | badger60
11/12/2017 10:07 | Dear old Goldmans. That probably represents the bottom for now,it's odds on that the broker was divesting before the change of recommendation..Yet slowly but surely everyone seems to be coming round to the Numis view which seemed so overly bearish when the stock was 3 pounds higher. I think it's highly likely that the dividend is cut come Spring 2018 given cash flow concerns. In terms of sentiment, this stock is being treated somewhat like Vodaphone that fell from grace a decade or so back. The analogy is suspect I know but I'm not sure ISAT will regain the glib acceptance of being a "growth stock with good yield", it's all more complicated than that, more competitive and uncertain. | steeplejack
11/12/2017 09:11 | Been there for years, way before it was called silicon roadabout, it was cheap back then... | zcaprd7
11/12/2017 08:50 | Happened to be on a bus on the City Road last week, not a common route for me. I was pretty gobsmacked to see size, scale and newness of Immarsat's HQ at Old St Roundabout. Must have cost a pretty penny and hard to see why they need to be on the edge of London's business district. | vulgaris
11/12/2017 08:21 | Goldman removes ISAT from pan-European buy list, downgrades to neutral, target reduced to 580. "We expect increasing supply of satellite capacity to remain a key investor concern at least until ISAT is able to show evidence of its aero capabilities as the service comes online". Limited FCF generation will leave dividend uncovered. ISAT still seen as long-term growth story, limited positive earnings momentum seen until late next year. | kamitora
08/12/2017 08:53 | Ok.....I'll get one so we can locate my grandson's toy boat in the bath.....;+) | badger60
08/12/2017 06:26 | Isat equipment is the best there is you should see some of the rubbish the other suppliers have its the best in class and I use it every day no ship owners move to other suppliers first due to cost of installation long term lease agreements and then no other equipment supplier is even half as good as ISAT try it Badger I am sure you will agree. | wskill
08/12/2017 03:34 | Good luck with your investment. | badger60
07/12/2017 18:49 | Some of us are here for the long term at these prices a 50% dividend cut is priced into this share price with excellent growth prospect's to come . | wskill
07/12/2017 09:50 | ........On balance, ISAT shareholders must be making absolute fortunes at these levels.......and I wouldn't be so sure about the current dividend yield going forward given the need to reduce debt........ | badger60
07/12/2017 09:42 | It cost me £850 to cut my losses here......Currently up £16k, £7k and £4k on PMO, HUR and OPR respectively, so I'm not losing too much sleep over it........... | badger60
07/12/2017 08:50 | looks like you sold at the bottom again badger best to spend more time researching a company like inmarsat rather than relying on charts. We are still in the growth phase ho and paying a divi WJ. | w1ndjammer
07/12/2017 03:38 | Hi ya Mango...... Obviously you've learnt absolutely nothing from all the inane bullish hype and b/s that you have sanctimoniously peddled (and continue to do so) on the PRM thread over the past 13 years....while painfully watching the share price collapse from 240p to 3p..........in a company that hasn't earned an honest 1p of commercial income in 25 years, despite reams of RNS promises to the contrary from a corrupt and inept management. When you re-read through your past postings over the years........ you must feel so ashamed........ Spot on! | badger60
06/12/2017 17:05 | bluemango - spot on! | hor_fra
06/12/2017 10:48 | Amusing to see the doom and gloom merchants on here choosing to wait until only now to urge people to short, just at the moment when the big boys seem to be unwinding theirs. Just coincidence I'm sure. | bluemango |
