05/8/2022 08:58 | More on this. I've paid for the land registry title/day notice of the site in question and it confirms that TW undertook a search with intent to purchase in July. My understanding is that the site was owned by both INL (as minor partners) and another company (whom had owned it for over 10 years as I understand it) and that INL did their planning expertise thing. So they took their respective % of the profit, as part-owners and got their planning consultancy fee too. Not sure when they will announce it but so far it all checks out. I don't have the numbers (sale value of the site/planning consultancy fee value) unfortunately. Land registry take 3 months to update things so I can't check that as it hasn't updated yet and the planning consultancy fee is v hard to guess (so many variables). But however you cut it, it's good news. I realise that alot of you think I've got a total downer on INL....but I really don't. I've been invested (and continue to be after a recent purchase) in INL for a v v long time. And I also continue to be invested in Energiser/Drumz too (back in the day Nish and Wicks were directors of Energiser). I think the money will be used to bolster working-capital than paying debt down...but we'll see. | oi_oi_savaloy
04/8/2022 16:18 | No - what I'm saying is that it's either Des Wicks, a Director of Inland homes (INL), bought the site in his own name or Inland Homes itself bought the site. The site then got planning (either paid for by Des Wicks or Inland homes) and was subsequently bought by Taylor Wimpey. I'm trying to establish if des bought the site (and thus it wont affect the share price) or INL did, which hopefully, will affect the share price. | oi_oi_savaloy
04/8/2022 15:54 | That makes no sense. You say INL have sold a site in Hitchin to Taylor Wimpey. That's clear enough. I've no problems with that. Then you say a guy called Des, or INL themselves bought it. So are you saying Taylor Wimpey didn't buy it? | kev0856153
04/8/2022 15:24 | Yes - that's exactly what I mean - that he bought it for himself. I don't think he did but I'm trying to find out exactly the state of play at the moment. It wouldn't count, as it were, at least for the share price of INL, if he bought it himself of course. | oi_oi_savaloy
04/8/2022 15:10 | Why would it be Des that bought it? Do you mean on his own account? | davidosh
04/8/2022 14:30 | I think INL are about to announce that they've sold a site (in Hitchin) to Taylor Wimpey. I'm not sure if Des himself bought the site or INL however. (I've just heard about it). It'll be interesting to see if there's an RNS to come out later today or tomorrow perhaps. | oi_oi_savaloy
