05/11/2015 13:20 | great news, other builders have reacted, this is one may have a slow reaction. | ![]() ravin146
05/11/2015 12:32 | bank now hinting that interestrates may not rise until 2017 so great news for all builders. | ![]() manrobert
05/11/2015 12:28 | david77 Why don't you read the RNS. That is not a fair reflection of the CWD RNS. | ![]() shanklin
05/11/2015 12:04 | I remember the slowdown in the construction market, back in the good ole 80's lasted 5 years, property prices tumbled, anyone remember negative equity ? | ![]() mr hangman
05/11/2015 12:04 | no change in interest rates! | ![]() manrobert
05/11/2015 11:58 | From the i newspaper today: Page 47: "Home sales slump hits Countrywide hard The UK's biggest estate agent hit investors with a profit warning yesterday as the post-election bounce in the housing market fell flat." Page 48: "JCB warns of 290 jobs at risk Digger maker JCB said up to 290 shop floor jobs were at risk of redundancy across its 11 UK plants after a slowdown in the construction market." | ![]() david77
05/11/2015 08:31 | Salchow Point taken. I had bought in as a gamble that the release of finals would give a boost to the share price This momentum stalled with delay of accounts which annoyed investors and soured reaction. Agreed the accounts were outstanding and I follow ST in the IC. Managed to get out of Globo two weeks ago before suspension and made a profit there which offset losses with Inland. That debacle has made me unusually twitchy. R. | ![]() retsius
05/11/2015 08:17 | Most builders in blue so now inl is bucking the trebd | ![]() ravin146
05/11/2015 08:17 | I would also be surprised if there will not be many more land sales as 5176 plots is far more than needed.good luck to all remaining holders. | ![]() manrobert
05/11/2015 08:13 | retsius - it is sad to make a loss on a share that has gone from 20p to 70p over not too long a period but then I would never buy a share with the thought that I was going to sell it within 12 months let alone a few weeks. It is no longer such an obvious buy as when I came in but I can see no reason to come out. The type of properties that Inland is involved in will continue to be in demand. | ![]() salchow
05/11/2015 07:48 | Pasty Nice summary which I agree with. Bailed out yesterday and took a loss. Figures were excellent but will remain on the sidelines and watch for now. R. | ![]() retsius
05/11/2015 07:40 | Pasty we should know more on after today's inflation numbers. | ![]() ravin146
05/11/2015 01:59 | A very weak non-commital buy rec in the IC. Must be waiting on a more detailed ST rec. But in all honesty no matter how much value there is here, the market has most likely decided to turn negative on INL as it factors in imminent interest rate increases. Purely for the reason of momentum, I am now out. | ![]() pastybap
04/11/2015 19:46 | Keep buying. This is quality through and through. | ![]() dt1010
04/11/2015 17:47 | Though bellway is suggested, that is down too. It's an over reaction to fear of rising rates soon. Inflation report is key tmoz, will boe indicate when it is likely to raise rates?!Dyor | ![]() ravin146
04/11/2015 15:20 | The whole sector is off today due to broker notes and the countrywide TS. I dont suppose though for one minute that this will effect INL's deal making capacity and rate of build. | ![]() cfro
04/11/2015 13:55 | The 2015 results for INL have just been loaded on to Stockopedia. Consequently, its Stockopedia stock rating has increased from 47/100 to 96/100. Perhaps this rating is more objective than some recent broker notes!! | ![]() shanklin
04/11/2015 13:04 | Brokers are prognosticating on the future - i.e. speculating - that there is a property bubble and future profits, margins, you name it are at risk. They could also be being manipulative.... take the prices down into rally season upto March next year! The future is unknown so we can add our own speculation... but looks like gains are going to be delayed until brokers' speculation changes OR we get yields we dont really care why or when (as with PSN and BKG currently). Good luck with the Great Game! | ![]() sogoesit
04/11/2015 10:38 | Looks like a bit of a rout in housing sector due to those bkr notes on the majors - I feel a hint of manipulation too - INL just announced a 100% jump in revenues - they aren't exactly struggling - TEF similar - its a tad convenient to bring the sector down before the spring selling season - poss a seasonal play to be well timed when the sector btms imv | luckymouse

03/11/2015 16:31 | This has done well considering other house builders. Note recent broker updates are for the large players.PMI's were good. | ![]() ravin146
03/11/2015 15:41 | Housebuilders, and property, getting whacked today across the board (down 3-6%). INL relatively unscathed (down 1%). Liberum downgraded PSN, BDEV, TW to sell from hold saying its worried about gross margin erosion over next few years. Oh well, that means yields are going up... one or two approaching my 6% buy threshold. PS my dog hasnt said anything about "rates going up" next year. Anyway, how much will they go up by? One loan I have is at an SVR of 0.8% so, if it goes to 1%, a 25% increase, will I be worried? | ![]() sogoesit |
