02/10/2020 12:24 | some buys going thru 81-82p | smithie6
02/10/2020 09:01 | Agreed, not one to trade as getting back in like running down an up escalator. | p1nkfish
02/10/2020 08:30 | Company still have a massive amount of stock to buy so in theory the share price should not go down as any sales will be soaked up. Unless we get some MM shenanigans or bad news, which looking at recent results I doubt. We just have to wait for more good news and the company getting noticed by more pi's. They usually have a update in January which I will wait for. Or I still think 120p is a benchmark so I will reassess my holding at either of those two points. Good luck to all Ingentans. | encarter
02/10/2020 07:13 | The 20K was buyback. | p1nkfish
02/10/2020 00:17 | some ppl are sitting on profits, from 40-60p area some gonna cash in some profits personally I think this could have a good short, medium & longer term future & that selling now wld be a mistake (although it may be bought before it gets to long term) (ING customers are seeing a boom in demand & opportinities due to the mega boom in working from home & studying remotely etc etc) | smithie6
01/10/2020 20:55 | looks like a 20,000 sale today at 79p | euclid5
01/10/2020 15:10 | A few profit takers today but all free stock will be hoovered up. | encarter
01/10/2020 14:18 | Pinkfish "Can't be higher than the last independent trade price if I remember correctly ?" or at the official quoted mkt price is also ok for trades under the buyback scheme | smithie6
01/10/2020 08:06 | Don't panic. Ex divi today. Note the ask hasn't dropped. | encarter
30/9/2020 16:41 | Yes, they can't drive the price up but can support on weaknrss as sales come to market. | p1nkfish
30/9/2020 16:32 | Neither rule restricts the company buying stock at this time. The limiting factor is the lack of stock at these prices. Imho some of the 15% free float is available but not at these prices. | encarter
30/9/2020 16:09 | Can't be higher than the last independent trade price if I remember correctly? So must be hard to find stock at that price or lower. From memory so please check. | p1nkfish
30/9/2020 16:00 | if we take the 10 day average as being about 65p then 150% of that would be 97.5p so, the 150% rule is not acting as a barrier to the buyback at 80-82p | smithie6
30/9/2020 15:17 | The algorithm for the buyback is well thought out. | p1nkfish
30/9/2020 14:45 | Just for clarity, each day if the price rises, the company can't buy their shares | euclid5
30/9/2020 09:44 | was told one mm offering to sell at 95p! managed to pick up 12,000 in 2 blocks (7k - 5K ) 82p & 83p | euclid5
29/9/2020 21:21 | ....so, it is definitely shouting, 'next stop 120p' ! ----- :-) | smithie6
29/9/2020 21:20 | "MM's have got stock but want a profit for it. My guess is that they have some stock from the last placing at 120p and that is where we will end up short term" 'they have some stock from last placing at 120p' imo, absolutely no chance. (from 2015/6; any MM holding stock for so many years, & showing a loss !!, would be queing at the dole office , imo !!) ----- "that is where we will end up short term" agree on that ----- I note that for >50% of the shares of ING (16-17 million) they were issued at 120p in 2 raisings/placings in 2015/6 so >50% of the votes for those shares want & need 120p JUST TO BREAK EVEN so, imo, many/most of them they will not want to sell below 120p due to mental reasons & !! the directors have a moral obligation to those investors (of >50% of the shares of ING) to not lose money for those investors, who must have a large vote in whatever the company bod ever decides wrt recent RNSs | smithie6
29/9/2020 20:19 | MM's had some stock on their books but wanted 82p for it. Company are happy to pay 82p but can't purchase shares at a price higher than the higher of the price of the last independent trade. Note the 609 buy at 82p just a few seconds earlier. That opened the door for the company to pay the 82p MM's wanted. That's my theory. We shall see tomorrow if we get a RNS. MM's have got stock but want a profit for it. My guess is that they have some stock from the last placing at 120p and that is where we will end up short term. | encarter
29/9/2020 20:05 | Doesn't look strange to me. Probably part of the buyback or at least the 30k bought this morning.. | encarter
29/9/2020 19:07 | I guess that Kestrel's holding is up in value by ~1million quid & M.Rose's holding so they will be happy/relieved, but they are sitting on a loss wrt the money they put in at 120p. our gains are in the noise | smithie6
29/9/2020 18:53 | but 40.6k shares all traded at 82p & almost none at any other price looks strange to me, & infers that some trades might be bed & ISAs, & indeed 2 trades of same amount at 82p went thru at the same second, imo no nett sale or buy of shares there ---- still low volume for nett movement of shares imo so far holders are not showing much interest in selling. I think that anyone holding since the 2015/6 placings at ~120p will logically want ~120p before even thinking about selling. some subscribers in 2015/6 at 120p 'might' want to cash in at 120p & get out even, after having been sitting in a losing position for so long, or maybe they will think things are now improving.... | smithie6
29/9/2020 18:38 | And another 10k. | encarter |
