finally its gone up a bit

someone's buy of 1500pnds, on its own pushed up the published price to buy by

2p !

from 60p to 62p

bt some more !

its surely gotta go up imo over the coming weeks

(& the bod want to get the share price up, so the risk/reward looks excellent imho)

(imo there is support to the share price , reducing the risk of the share price falling, from
- the share buyback programme
- the notable cash/share wrt the mkt cap. value
- the profitability & improving profitability
- the ratio of turnover to mkt cap. value is cheap for a software/IT co. with high recurring income)

(most bod options are 'out of the money', & also the shares they have bought in the past
...2 dirs are linked to ~60% of the shares !)

4800 shares sold so far

(& 1 bed & ISA type trade (= 2 matching trades))

so, maybe the company will buyback those shares

if we get occasional RNSs saying
"we have just bought X more shares in the buyback'

it helps highlight the share to investors
& surely should help the share price.

ah, bit slow...

the buy/sell is 59-60p
that is a 1p spread
or 1.7%

very small for an illiquid microcap, ~5-7% might be more normal

so, the company buyback order is already in place with the MM in my opinion. :-)
no other reason for the spread to be so small imo

((yesterday, did the price to sell rise from 52p to 59p
+7p
if so that is 13% wrt 52p & not 5%))

-----

today, I'm surprised the price hasn't risen again since I see the news & results as very positive, maybe it needs to be tipped to get noticed. Worth 90-100p imo.

---

I noticed that interims included a £200k one off, reducing the profit. If add that on to the profit the numbers are even better, & then x2 for annual impact.
---

type of share & numbers that Mr Thompson, of is it, Inv. Chronicle normally likes, & Techinvest.

I don't see how it can't keep rising until they have completed the buyback. Who know how far with a bit of good news.

2,429,880 outside of 3% holders.

Today, 5.31% rise on 53K transactions. Play with some numbers.
They may well need a wide window to buy in what is likely > 500K shares for £500K. I cant see how this share won't rise going forward.

Any arguments against? Dyor etc.

Hence the 150% rule of previous 10 day average price. It could rise quite quickly as excess stock is taken off a tight market. There will be pauses in buy back if they need to calm it down but with such a low free float, and a divi, its hard to see the price not responding.

Selling with the hope of buying back lower doesn't look at all sensible.

Is there only aroun 2.5m free float shs with 85% taken up by majority s/holders

basically no sells today

fingers crossed, & a few buyers tomorrow morning, if sellers contonue to stay away, & we'll grind out a rise of a few % more

----

I'm hoping that shareholders have been waiting for years for this to turn around, & imo it's happening/happened, so I'm hoping that almost no one will want to sell in such a situation.

Yes I agree. But I didn't see anyone mention them buying at 90p when the price is 60p, as you suggested. That was my point.

"Further, in accordance with Article 3(2) of the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052, the Company shall not, when executing transactions under the share buyback programme, purchase shares at a price higher than the higher of the price of the last independent trade and the highest current independent purchase bid on the trading venue where the purchase is carried out, including when the shares are traded on different trading venues"

which is what I said

---

(ok, yes the price paid must also be less than 150% of the average price over previous 10 days, that basically forces the buyback to stop `for some days` if the price jumps by +50%.)

-----

ie. can not pay more than recent highest price paid or highest quoted price to buy, whichever is higher

so, today the co. buyback would have had a max. price of 60p.

Tomorrow the co. can not buy at 61p unless the mkt price moves to 61p or a trade goes thru at 61p.

imo you can forget any +20% or +50% text, since I dont think that will ever be used as a limit in practice.

that's my interpretation anyway, (& I think the info provided by the co. is very clear)

share buy back

someone mentioned buying back at 90p, I think when the price is 60p

incorrect imo

buy back price is limited to the higher of recent trades or the official quoted price to buy

-----

but the buy back is good news for the shareprice & holders

Thanks Smithie, I now vaguely remember seeing it, but had not twigged at the time the potential significance

indeed

over time I think it will grind upwards, hopefully with an occasional step jump if they announce any contract win

£27-28k of shares traded so far today

& 1/2 hour left

small value & 10% price uplift, shows that it is fairly illiquid. (now, if some tipster tipped it & we saw a queue of buyers, we might get a nice % rise)

music

from the last Annual results

"The Group is also looking to leverage its existing expertise in contracts, rights and royalty's management by expanding into adjacent verticals. During the year, the business announced the release of ConChord, a solution designed for the music industry, where we believe there are further opportunities to pursue"

"The Group have identified the concepts of intellectual property and the management associated rights and royalties as a potential opportunity in associated vertical markets. The most closely related vertical is music and the Group launched a new product labelled ConChord to address this market"

"Elsewhere, in the software core of the Group's business, we see further opportunities to leverage our expertise in intellectual property and rights management outside of traditional publishing sector markets and into the wider media sectors of music, film and gaming. The business has geared up its investment to capitalise on this and ensure software delivery quality."

------

it definitely wasn't kept hidden from shareholders

it was mentioned various times in the last annual results

here is a link to the 5 year chart

which shows the share price to be close to the 5 year low & phps set to turn around, or to continue to turn around after hitting around 40-45p due to the mkt panic during the first wave of the Covid virus.

timbo

music IP has been in co. RNS/info before

a re-use type thing using existing software, I think, is what the co. said in the past.

----

...this share has sure taken a long time !! years !

----

I note that dirs. have put in serious cash at 120p in the placing in ~2015
& have bought shares at prices a chunk above the current price, & then they have kept on plugging away with the co. +8-10% looks good but hopefully its not over, maybe it is all looking much brighter now, the numbers say/indicate that

1 dir. holds just below 30%, 1-3 other dirs hold 1-4% each, Kestrel hold almost 30%
so, I get the feeling that there are not so many shares available to be bought/sold

& some PIs have phps been holding for a few years, seeing the promise, & listening to the promises !, hoping, & imo are unlikely to sell just because the share price rises 10%.

12month high of 97.5p and 24 month high of 140p. Things have never been better so no reason we can't go above 100p this year imho.

It has been mentioned as a move into another segment but dont remember the first time mentioned.

Looks good to me overall. Good luck all holders. Tightly held.
