There was an interesting post on the LSE b/b which indicates that there is nothing out at sea which looks out of place..........perhaps the water issue is land based and that FINNCAP the brokers/advisors do not consider it important enough for the company to make an announcement.

I will wait and see before I buy in again.

I'm not sure which to put lower in the bottom drawer, this one or JSE!
By the law of averages I must be due some good luck elsewhere before year end on one of the North Eigg, Pensicola or Serenity drills to give a boost to my O&G investments and offset the recent IOG/JSE downturns! Even UJO has reversed it's recent gains as with the other frackers but I will be holding on to that one.

Yes although North Eigg is HPHT much like R3 so technical problems are no big surprise there and fortunately up to 91.25% of the costs are tax deductible. Kist is down again today, far more than SQZ which has recovered a bit from the earlier drop.
Most shares are in the the red today following on from the biggest decline in the Dow since June 2020 by the close in NY. Not IOG however(!) which just goes to show how disconnected from the markets this share has become. Maybe we will get to see some updated production figures from siggy's link on 1st October.

Serica North Eigg delayed by 6 weeks and £3mn additional cost to them. These events are a hazard in the sector.

Luckily sold 80% the day before the results rns and the remaining 20% first thing once rns landed. Have also bought back a thimble sized position recently. Likewise have zero confidence in BOD. Regular updates in the past probably meant BOD understood the issues with mitigation in place. Radio silence may mean BOD don't yet understand the issues, or even worse, they do understand but don't care to tell us how bad things are?.....

Sitting on the sidelines here hoping NOT for a takeover is too much. Have bought in again with a modest 23000 just in case. I still don't have much (if any) faith in this BOD to be telling us the truth but surely the assets and debt are worth more than the current £140 million market cap.

From my point of view any news of progress on mitigating/resolving the water issue would be welcome. It's been ongoing for a while now and without progress on understanding and dealing with this issue or positive news on Southwark I can't see the shareprice making much of a recovery in the meantime. Markets don't like uncertainty.

We may well get no news before October 1st hence my interest in siggy's link to production figures which may be updated on that date.

Thanks siggy! Would be good to set a thread reminder if that functionality existed! I know, I'll credit your post with a fraction of a coin then it will appear just below the header.
I am assuming the company will tell us nothing in the meantime but may be pleasantly surprised!

Updated 1st working day of month on the nail - assuming IOG provides the data to the NSTA that is.

Historic data sometimes changed as allocation, based on new data, are rerun.

Edit - I remember now, data is only updated every couple of months, so will need to recheck on Oct 1st or thereabouts.

Of course I hope you don't as I have quite a few of these. With a bit of good fortune the water issue may be mediated or resolved before then although I won't hold my breath then I may be pleasantly surprised!

I'm sure someone here tracked down production figures a while ago. It would be good to see what they are now even if from only one well flowing at once while they measure the water content from each.

What track record, oh you mean that false start one lol!
Can we see the current production figures anywhere, that might help sentiment if they look stablish.

On another note I bought some UJO just 10 days ago, already up around 25% which sure beats faffing around here for years to be in the red when gas prices are way higher than anyone's wildest expectations! Only a small investment there though. Still holding plenty of these.

Agree I'm likely to get out in New Year unless we get proof of stable production and assets.
They can't f up on these next two appraisal wells as well,IMHO.

Thanks hpcg with all the problems with IOG at times I am beginning to wonder if its worth staying invested.
