10/8/2005 08:03 | Re Contract RNS Number:9298P Independent Media Distribution PLC 10 August 2005 Independent Media Distribution plc Contract Win 10 August 2005 IMD reaches agreement with ITV for advertising delivery The Board of Independent Media Distributions ("IMD") is pleased to announce that IMD has signed an agreement with ITV for the implementation of its digital advertising delivery service into both of ITV's transmission centres in London and Leeds. ITV's decision to receive its commercials via IMD's bespoke system is of major strategic importance as it will enable IMD to offer advertisers virtually full digital connectivity to the UK and Irish broadcasting networks, with existing users of the system now including BSkyB recently also added to the network. Negotiations for this development have been underway for several months and IMD has during this period made substantial progress in the build out. This requires not only sophisticated systems in the broadcasting premises but also preparation for much larger volumes of advertising being processed through the head office hub. Total costs of the development and preparation for the larger volumes not originally budgeted are expected to be approximately #700,000 of which half has been incurred prior to the end of June with the balance in the second half. Capital expenditure for the UK rollout will be substantially completed with this installation. On the assumption that radio industry advertising revenues continue to remain depressed in line with the first half and that material revenues resulting from ITV do not commence until 2006, it is considered unlikely that IMD will achieve a result materially ahead of break even for the current year. IMD expects to generate substantial additional revenue from television as a direct result of this installation. These revenues are expected to impact in the New Year. No pain no gain! | veryniceperson
24/7/2005 19:53 | As VNP says, biggest volume for a quarter - somebody may know something... | larousse
22/7/2005 17:37 | Still bubbling away Hastings, turned the corner for sure. Thanks for the link VNP. | shootthroughtheroof
22/7/2005 15:29 | + 2.5 Some big trades going through, is something going on, an announcement just around the corner. Anyone in the Know? | veryniceperson
20/7/2005 20:16 | There was a press release today. This is why the price rise, was properly hanging around somewhere before the release. | veryniceperson
18/7/2005 19:21 | I'm waiting for the results before re-entering. This is quite illiquid and can move sharply in both directions. Also, it tends to leak like a sieve. The AGM statement was pretty downbeat and the rising competition they refer to worries me enough to offset the TV potential. | wjccghcc
18/7/2005 18:18 | Welcome aboard. Hope you are right shoot. I quote this with a wink. An old fisherman once told me that the two things to remember in life are "don't hurry and don't worry". Hum Hum, I hurry and I worry, never could take good advice. Good Luck Shoot. | veryniceperson
18/7/2005 17:47 | Been away for 10 days came home 7 8 points up [that's life] so took the plunge today, turned corner I believe. | shootthroughtheroof
18/7/2005 14:45 | BUBBLING AWAY VERY NICELY! | hastings
18/7/2005 11:05 | Up 3.5p on not much... Only 4 trades. Still, nice to be on a climbing trend for a change | larousse
15/7/2005 09:55 | We seem to be moving north again. | veryniceperson
14/7/2005 14:33 | Another tick up today so far. Makes you wonder if these have bottomed out? Perhaps there is a bit of a turn around? Can just keep heading north | veryniceperson
13/7/2005 17:32 | Quite day after yesterday expected a little more action today. | veryniceperson
06/7/2005 10:42 | I Think ITV news is a different company PT3, and those other are more regional. The aforementioned could be completely wrong. Perhaps some body could put us right? Think at the moment with the price the shares are cheap. | veryniceperson
06/7/2005 09:42 | I notice that on their web-site that 'ITV Sales' appears for quite a few channels. Does this mean that ITV have signed up? | pt3
05/7/2005 17:36 | Think your right shoot, overdone. They look a right bargain now but with this market who knows. Its just a pity they can't put out some bullish news ITV or bigger still. Have noticed on there web site a lot of international channels springing up which has to be a good sign. £1.50 by Christmas then me and Larousse will be rocking around the Christmas tree! | veryniceperson
05/7/2005 16:39 | Look at the share price vs the volume bars below. Every time the mm's had a big trade - or trades - to move, the price was marked down to enable them to move the stock. We know the way it works with IMD - where the market isn't that big - any volume on no / poor news and you can see the effect on the price. The only saving grace is that it's just as likely to move the other way at the same pace on better news. But I can't answer your question about the end of the selling - I just don't know. | larousse
05/7/2005 14:31 | Still sitting on the side. I think this drop has been seriously over done. Will they drifted any lower? | shootthroughtheroof
28/6/2005 19:54 | These have taken a tumble over the past 9 months over done by the look of things. Might just have a few of these, look good to hold and a dividend to boot! | shootthroughtheroof
23/6/2005 16:37 | And a nice 35k trade at 39p, perhaps ITV has signed up, now that would be good news. And before you ask VNP yes i am back in and not at 39p;-) | hastings
23/6/2005 15:34 | Something stirring here perhaps! | hastings
23/6/2005 15:13 | aql - 23 Jun'05 - 14:00 - 224 of 224 "Post removed by ADVFN" Did I miss something good ? | larousse
23/6/2005 14:00 | Post removed by ADVFN | shirishg
23/6/2005 13:59 | It might be short lived but nice to see a small rise, it makes up for yesterday! | veryniceperson
22/6/2005 13:20 | The mark down today is surely not based on the 3k reported sale, must be a few more delayed. | hastings |
