18/1/2005 08:16 | You beat me to it bigblueeyes. Can't be a bad thing, have always said these funds know more than we do. With the results around the corner (25-2-05) must be encouraging for us small punters. | veryniceperson

21/12/2004 11:26 | i think they are roll trades as was some of the volume on the previous day(s). Robin | robinbell
20/12/2004 22:13 | You and me both. If you take a close look at these trades you will notice that the first 30000 (in 15000 blocks) traded is very simular to the second 30000 traded, just a couple of hours apart. Has anyone got an idea what is going on? | bigblueeyes
20/12/2004 17:32 | What's going on here then large volume but no price movement? Do wish I could buy or sell at mid price! | veryniceperson
11/12/2004 13:16 | What I like about IMD is, it doesn't stand still. Once they get the TV adds side running that should push up revenues. I've said this before, but once they perfect their system that could lead to bigger and better things. Give them a chance and have patience. Games, I'm also sceptical. I try to weigh up the pros and cons, I especially like the way they fund their expansion. Games, the big boys are also sticking around and I bet they are told a lot more than us (I'm also cynical to). | veryniceperson
11/12/2004 12:45 | wjccghcc, I must admit that i am suprised at the share price of chs, if imd were to be on the same rating we would be looking at a share price over 100p. imo the rating should be reversed looking at the potential imd have stated for tv, maybe its a mkt-cap thing/turnover, and the lower one's (like imd) are easily hammered into the ground. Saying that, i don't really want to the see stations hammered due to possible knock-on effects. btw, the pdf above overall is not too bad, taking tv into consideration. | games
11/12/2004 12:13 | I think radio advertising growth is patchy. Chrysalis were downbeat but SRG were quite upbeat on it. The main question with IMD is how successful will the TV side be and how quickly will it grow so that we're no longer as exposed to radio fluctuations. | wjccghcc
10/12/2004 21:07 | Also if u check when the rebound turned down, it is not too hard to match it to this snip from the Telegraph. There's no growth on the airwaves, says Chrysalis Too be honest, i don't really know how i missed it, either too lazy, or i was busy with something else. | games
10/12/2004 20:47 | vnp, hi i know i sound more than a little cheesed off (sceptical) and hopefully i will be wrong. anyhow here is general overview of the overall add mkt. | games
10/12/2004 18:28 | Off course, she could have been offered more money! Beam and IMD do also work together. Just hope Beam needs IMD more than IMD needs Beam if you know what I mean. | veryniceperson
10/12/2004 18:14 | Hi Games When the trading statement came out, it was the same day the divi cheque dropped on the doormat, now I reckon that statement was hanging around for a few days before the release to soften the blow, just a thought! I didn't think the statement to bad when analysed it looks to me that a lot of things are going on at the same time and draining a bit of cash and at least they have some of that. At the moment the institutions are staying put and I bet they no a lot more than we do. Charles Dunstone still in to. The next 6 9 months will be important to us. I bet he will get a statement out as soon as he can to readdress the balance as he (David Haynes with 7 million shares) also has a lot to lose. Over the past couple years the radio revenues have grown strongly and was only matter of time when revenues would drop a little. One thing that did bother was the fact that they lost some business to a competitor, but who? Anybody no. | veryniceperson
10/12/2004 17:40 | I also see that IMD lost an operations director this year, and while it may not amount to much, imo someone who spends seven yrs somewhere usually leaves because a) better prospects somewhere else, b) challenge c) company losing the plot. She left for one job for a shortwhile before then finding a position at Beam, so it looks like she took a position (first) without too much thought, or Beam realised that she had left IMD and then approached her while in her new job. Either way i wonder what IMD knowledge she took to Beam? | games
07/12/2004 23:12 | I suspect the TV stuff is growing v. fast but that the radio advertising is patchy (was particularly bad in Sep/Oct as IMD said but I think is up a bit in Nov according to radio companies). It's a question of how quickly the TV growth can start driving total growth. | wjccghcc
07/12/2004 17:26 | This is sensitive to every little trade because no-one really knows how things are going. Management tell us that revenues can change on a weekly basis. There seem to be a few sellers about and there is someone continually picking up 10k blocks (is that you bigblueeyes). Robin | robinbell
07/12/2004 14:22 | imo the chart looks terrible, the bullish news earlier in the year has turned into what looks like a delayed dream, the what was obviously a leaked trading statement prior to the official rns leaves a rather sour taste and very little in the way of trust in the management. I still hold, and will more than likely do so unless further bad news arrives, otherwise it looks like its lining up to be a cut and run before the end of the tax yr. | games
07/12/2004 13:24 | These market makers are having a laugh, every which way on little trade. Welcome aboard bigblueeyes, it can be like watching paint dry. But one day who knows, trebles all round! | veryniceperson
30/11/2004 17:18 | Hi Robinbell.(Re 9th Nov) Just thought I would make myself known. Since the small drop a few weeks ago I have decided to join this crowd picking up an odd 10k on a couple of ocssions. I can't say that they are all mine but I would like too. The fall I feel was well over the top and has just allowed me in at a price that was good to my pocket. The share is a long term investment, but I hope that all will come good before I retire. | bigblueeyes
24/11/2004 18:19 | Evening All Funny old day today 9k traded and down 3, hope no more bad news around the corner. | veryniceperson
11/11/2004 00:20 | There will either be some good news out soon or they are trying to fill a large order for one of the institutions methinks, all good fun though. Lets see what today brings. | veryniceperson |
