Whilst it is commendable that the TV side is continuing with its acceptance there is, as yet, no confirmation that ITV has bought - when that comes it will improve things BUT there is continual indication that Radio is at saturation point in the UK/ Eire and I cannot yet understand why this has not been rolled out to Europe and also sold to the myriad of Satellite/Internet/ stations which operate their services from the UK. The Uk must have the largest concentration of Radio/TV services designed to serve OUTSIDE the UK (its truly astounding how many services opt to operate from London) Is IMD serving them?

weird statement imo, Radio may be the largest SINGLE earner (at the moment) but last yr radio revenues fell by 7% and group sales were still better by
8.7%. Also the new TV ops were held back due (if my memory serves me correctly) to required alterations to software, this i believe was sorted with the news from Telestream.

if their is a shortfall since the begining of March i suspect the TV rollout is still proving to be a challenge due in the main to the size, and that once sorted imd should be back on course. Radio revenues are not the growth area that they once were, and only recently a report stated that internet ad spending was now equal for the first time to radio (uk). Tv may well have been expected to cover the radio shortfall.......but it looks to be not quite there yet, and its easy to blame a decline on something that has history (numbers etc) while the new oppourtunity (TV) is nutured.

time will tell ;-)

As you say games, time will tell.

There are lots of ways to look at this, the size of the trades, the frequency, the quantities - large round numbers vs smaller odd numbers - and then there's the chart, but I can't be over bothered now - have a good weekend ;)

larousse, Logic (at least for imd) for me is remembering all the sells before last years profit warning, and for all i know the sells at that time may have caused the mkt to contact imd to find out whats going on...........then bingo profit warning. Maybe this time the mkt is taking no prisoners, time will tell.

I am wondering what could have changed since, (first line of current trading in latest results) 'Group sales increase 14% in first seven weeks of 2005.' apart from the fact the share price would have to rise around 50% to match the share price at that time.

Not sure I understand your logic there games. I'd buy at this price.

If there's any sentiment change here, I don't know what it is - just seems to me that someone needs to sell (the reason isn't important).

With respect to VNP, it's an interesting theory, but I can't see the dividend connection - a penny on the price makes that irrelevant.

You know that anything outside the NMS moves the price disproportionally on thinly traded small caps. The trades haven't been that big.

They might be part of a bigger sale that's over-hanging, but I don't have level 2 so I can't tell.

Either way, it only affects me if I sell - so it doesn't ;)

looks like quite a hammering today. Though why anyone would buy at the moment beats me.

vnp, positive interest was coming from potential investors, but judging by what happened yesterday, i wonder why? Anyhow why buy above 40p now?

Hi Games or anyone with an interest, I wonder if its anything to do with dividend payment due on the 22nd. Perhaps share holders within the company wanted to leave the cash in the business account with all the money spent on building out the new network. Just a thought. Could be a complete load of cobblers of cause.

At 40p they must be very desperate but no movement on the price. Sometimes you do wonder what's going on. What was the positive interest Games, you can't keep us in the dark.

quite a large cross trade aft hrs. Looks like someone (for whatever reason?) desperate to sell, and at the quantity shown hopefully they got fleeced, while someone got a bargain at 40p, and with a bit of luck it is/was this seller that has been driving the price down. Funny thing is, it was only last night that i started to hear that some positive interest was starting to stir.

any views on who the seller is anyone?
