Results in Feb so I suspect we'll see some interest here over the next few weeks. Looks far too cheap.

Mattjos - take a look at Restore plc (RST) - another Ashcroft holding that has recently turned the corner. Could be the next Impellam - both have Andrew Wilson on the Board.

I suppose the question here is what discount should there be for the Ashcroft factor?

Incidentally CR I think eps should be around 48p this yr which gives a pe of 4.2

There is a co supplying NHS staff called Allied Healthcare operating solely in UK but quoted, curiously enough on Nasdaq selling on a pe of 13.3.Based on that the healthcare side of IPEL is worth over 300p alone. It should be said that Ipel healthcare is far larger and growing much faster.Tha healthcare div should provide about 40% of overall profits this yr.

I'm struggling to see how SVCA and HLO look better value PURAV.

PE on SVCA looks like 6 compared to IPEL's PE of 5. IPEL also ha a much nicer and more positive chart imo.

HLO has a dreadful chart and also a history recently of some rather less than good goins on with the board there - that Kate Bleasdale has poor form doesn't she?

Normally one can deal inside the spread particularly if one waits for the mms to offer you stock, the 10k at 202 was my purchase.

Needs to prove itself over time a bit more like STAF imo, and pay a divi like STAF too but that should come - perhaps sooner than many think.

waterloo, dont be fooled by the size of the risr,(bishop/actress)if the share is still massively undervalued stick with it otherwise you can missout on those fortune making gains. Not to say a litle profit taking is bad if yo feel a stock is getting ahead of itself and thn getting back in,but the spread in IPEL doesnt really allow that.My tgt here is 500+ in 18 months.

Might have sold out too early, but with a 650% rise, I just had to bank it. Jumped up today, so might be news in offing. Very little stock around. Kept small holding just incase.

I am kicking myself not getting in here up to now(acquired first time today). The rate of debt reduction is very strong, due to earnins leaps and good cash flow, and thus the market cap is adjusting upwards so that when debt is fully paid off the mkt cap will equate to the Enterprise value
Well done to all who are here from well beow £1

I see Cenkos have forecast eps at 43.3p and profits of £25.7m for this yr,which looks conservative to me,possibly they are factoring a higher tax charge than me.Equally STAF a smaller co in same business have eps forecast at about 23p for this yr yet are selling at 192.Given that IPEL are 3x as large in profit terms one would expect them to be rated at a premium. On the same basis as STAF they should be around 350p.

although Ipel have traditionally been short on giving investors much info, (just look at their result statements), I thought this latest trading statement was their IMS... especially as it referred to the debt situation at the end of the third quarter. As things are now very positive, perhaps even they couldnt resist pushing out a rns

to me looks like they are stoking it for a takeover?
what else was the announcement for?

On a readthrough from STAF IPEL should be about 350p

Yes pre-tax. I think its always better to err on the cautious side. And yes, of course I anticipate them beating my figures, but again I'm obvioiusly more conservative in my expectations.
