06/3/2012 09:24 | I'm still in, but nothing much to say. Waiting for news on this capital reorganisation, though at these levels I'd say (and hope) that a sale of the company might be on the cards for 500p to 600p a share. Would still be earnings enhancing for some of the big rivals if they paid that. | spot1034
06/3/2012 09:18 | Mmmm was expecting a tick up after yesterdays tight little exchange. Disappointing. Looks like I'm talking to myself here, I take it everybody else is out for the time being. | foxman14
05/3/2012 13:22 | Tight spread today 343.82 to sell 345 to buy on Selftrade. Could move either way from here but I know where my money is! | foxman14
28/2/2012 10:25 | Another 2%+ (so far) today. What we need is good outlook statements from the big recruitment players (RWA announce their finals this week and MPI next week) and that should give us another boost. | foxman14
21/2/2012 20:25 | Plus handing out dividends - if they want to give a divi of, say, 3% then that would cost them £4m - no small amount of money. | horace678
21/2/2012 14:45 | According to the Preliminary results statement they will be spending the cash on more share buybacks and/or earnings enhancing acquisitions. | foxman14
21/2/2012 07:18 | What exactly are they intending to do with all the cash they are generating? Interesting to attend AGM. | mikeja
20/2/2012 16:20 | It received a favourable buy comment in IC online, with brokers Cenkos expecting profits of 39.5m and eps of 67 for 2012. This should appear in print in this fridays issue, so anticipate more buying then and next monday. | cb7
20/2/2012 16:12 | Far more activity than normal today - although still very light when compared with most shares. I assume this is just a hangover from results last week rather than a sign of impending news. | spot1034
20/2/2012 11:04 | anyone who wants a dividend - 13% dividend available on SHFT | dugganjoe
20/2/2012 11:03 | Beginning to move up now. Is this the start of the breakout? | foxman14
17/2/2012 13:23 | There will be no predators with IPEL as Ashcroft (or his family) own 57%, so any takeover will be on his terms. | horace678
17/2/2012 11:22 | Indeed, a predator could afford to pay way over the present price and still get it at a discount to their own rating. | spot1034
17/2/2012 10:37 | 2008 debt £61.8m/operating loss £2.4m - 2011 net cash £1.8m/pre-tax profit £32.9m. Some turnaround and mega cash generation. Broker Cenkos Securities keeps forecast unchanged for 2012 pre-tax profit £39.5m/EPS of 67.1p (2011 54p 2010 46.7p 2009 23.9p) Fwd PE of less than 5!?! STHR (also hold) current fwd PE around 15 so IPEL looks very cheap imo and a divi now likely this year too. Lots more to come here i reckon - even after the recent rise, you could double the current share price and could still be only a lowly single digit PE. Just wish they'd be more talkative, would help. | chrisb1103
16/2/2012 20:36 | They talk about capital reorganisation. I wonder if it'll be along the lines of what we saw at BCB in 2008: Get rid of all the small shareholders and tidy things up a bit. | horace678
16/2/2012 10:19 | Presumeably....appar | cb7
16/2/2012 09:46 | Could 'unlocking the value' be a hint that the company might now be up for sale at a decent premium to the present price? | spot1034
16/2/2012 09:19 | "the board remains focused on maximising shareholder value and unlocking the value of the Impellam Group"...."the capital reorganisation will also provide for other forms of capital transactions capable of delivering value to shareholders" | cb7
16/2/2012 09:08 | Nursing side could see squeeze from public sector cuts | dugganjoe
16/2/2012 08:19 | OK they missed eps forecast of 63p but long term debt wiped out and looking to pay a divi at the interims. Historic p/e of 5.5, profit taking and general market aside they should go up from here IMHO. DYOR. Any other thoughts? | foxman14
15/2/2012 16:30 | sorry guys and dolls it was me, had to take some profits to pay bill. I'll be back!!!!!!! | gucci
15/2/2012 11:23 | If there are half a dozen more small sells, you could be right! This really does seem to move a lot on virtually no activity. | spot1034
14/2/2012 16:39 | Could just be anticipation of results which are due any day now. If they can get anywhere near 60p eps, these will still look ridiculously cheap even after the recent sharp rise. | spot1034
14/2/2012 16:37 | I think you mean 300p, not 800p. | horace678 |
