Plenty of takeovers and deals are done even pre-phase 3. However, it is in IMM's interests to wait until at least headline Phase 3 results are available because they should add immensely to the value.

Like 'top tips' mentioned, Cephalon were happy to previously do a deal for Lupuzor on just Phase 2a, worth £45m upfront and £500m milestones to IMM. Worth a lot more today following excellent Phase 2b and if Phase 3 is good.

No company will do due diligence on the all important phase 3 data until after the results are announced.

tt, yes its inevitable several pharmas will already have done due diligence, infact they started years ago as evidenced by the old Cephalon deal. IMM have confirmed they are already in discussions with a number. I agree an RNS could trigger a bid especially with so many big pharmas desperate for new drugs and platforms, and plenty of money to fund aquisitions.

"HGSi's takeout price was $3.6 billion for 50% of the rights (to Benlysta)... so we can assume roughly Benlysta was bought for $7 billion...and that's in 2012...so if we are looking at a drug [Lupuzor] that could be better, the price could be higher...a novel treatment in lupus could command that price...because it already has...

...and then just in terms of pricing for the drug...Tim mentioned $20k per patient per year, that's not very expensive...Benlysta is commanding $35k per patient per year...(I am even more conservative in my model) if we have a drug that is as good or better (Lupuzor)...$40k, $50k per patient per year isn't unachievable...

...the regulatory position speaks miles...a SPA and Fast Track designation...the FDA dosn't dole these out lightly...the regulator is behind this drug...

...if the trial is successful we are going to see a re-rating of the stock price...the types of deals that are closed are not small deals ...P140 is now being shown to affect other diseases with major indications ...rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, Crohns, the list goes on and on, so a potential buyer, even 'though lupus is big enough, won't just buy it for lupus it will buy it for all these other indications as well...I definately think this stock is currently undervalued..."

njb67, several interested parties will already have done due diligence on the Phase 2b data and data for other indications, plus the rest of the pipeline. In that context, they could now bid on an RNS detailing headline Phase 3 results, which have to be factually correct. Also a lot pharmas do deals or takeovers on just Phase 1 or 2. Cephalon originally did a $545m deal with IMM based just on Phase 2a. Once the results are out it becomes a race among the suitors.

£50 to £100 a possibility.

Can someone sensible help me here - I only view the consoildated view of all the posts but that has the stock price at the top and after only a minute or two I'm thrown out of the BB unless I upgrade my account or something. This leads me to log in , post and log out each time to stop that happening however now there are a few total nutcases on this BB (spmc, albany etc) that post about 700p price targets even though they know they are false and £400 price targets, as well as other posters that just repost the same stuff over and over again... anyway I just want to filter them out - cannot read another one of their stupid posts.

Can anyone tell me how to look at consolidated view whilst staying logged in but not being thrown out?

TIA
