Absolutely right Divmad VAL are nowhere near IMM and at a far earlier stage so consequently have a far lower mcap. I have 6 times more money invested here than VAL.

Stan: interesting you mention the assessment methodology, as I was reading today that a cross sectional study in lupus is probable the best method to get an accurate measure from the placebo arm. It seems to reduce this down to circa mid 30%.Any thought on this you can share would be appreciated.

Thanks w1ndjammer. Great interview with Tim.Good to hear that placebo subjects from the P3 will also have access to the open-label study. So for those individuals the study become a longitudinal study, rather than the P3 cross-sectional study. The data after 6 months will be fascinating.

Tim McCarthy (IMM Chairman) 18/1/2018

6 min. 45 sec.

"I am really excited that in a relatively short period of time, we could have a drug [Lupuzor] on the market which would benefit literally millions of patients across the world for a condition for which they havn't had an effective treatment ever...

...to be a relatively small UK company, sitting here as we do with this late stage product, owning 100% of it, from a commercial perspective that's really exciting as well because this is potentially a multi-billion dollar drug...this is definately going to be a product which will sell in the multi-billion dollars per year...

...we [IMM] are still only valued at £200 - £250 million. In pharmaceutical terms and the prospect of this drug, that is absolutely still very tiny when you consider the potential of this drug...There are a number of discussions going on...so its exciting on a number of fronts."

marwalker - interesting. Could be either he doesn't know and is just guessing, or, now the trial's over, maybe they've unblinded to patients who asked. Trivial to track him down - Google his moniker - if you're into social media you should be able to contact him directly and ask.

Pottsey take a look at motif bio, already had ph 3 trials and results were good, they have submitted application to the FDA for approval, they have fast track so could be accepted in 6 months time, a new antibiotic for skin leasions, they are around 40p

You could try angle, ( agl) liquid biopsy and running a oh 3 trual niw to end in june i think, 53 p

But do your own research too.

Two methods of tacking Bone marrow transplantation for haematological malignancies. Cdx biphasic antibody to replace chemo and radiottherapy. Use of progenitor cells from patients own liver to replace random bm donors. Im a haematologist so can give more science etc if required

Anyone know other drug companies like this one that could be worth looking at long term? Are there any other promising ones at sub 70p?. I am aware there is more risk at that stage.

Never used spread bets, what are the pros and cons. apart from the leverage factor (bigger gains or losses). You dont hold the shares. Can you keep the trade open indefinetly. ? Charged interest etc

Tim sounded very confident and upbeat on the call.

Could he have a high level overview of efficacy of phase 3 and know that the drug works, without necessarily knowing the detailed and granular results of phase 3?
