Should be on the radar very soon (risers list) - weekend press comment would be a boost too. Please. :-)

That was a pretty bullish AGM statement. There seems to be plenty of scope for upgrades as the year pans out. Im long as of this morning.

Nice statement..... figures beginning to look very good indeed.

True, but I mean that it's become more so!

On the matter of newcomers - things seem to be running so hot and cold. I've been holding for a long while now and still feel that ILX can deliver to those who have sufficient patience.

When has the chart not been bizarre! Are we now seeing a few people realising this might be a good time to get in?

The chart is rather bizarre from April onwards!

dussekdorf, i think u r probably right. They need to pay 1 million in cash and another 1.5 million in either cash or shares at company option by June 30. As they have not done that yet I guess they r probably arranging a placing.

Isn't this just the usual MM mark down on a sale of a few '000?

According to the Annual Report, Kate Blackall hasn't sold any since January and still has a 4.35% stake.

We ought to have a trading update next week with the AGM on Friday.

spaceparallax - I suspect it has something to do with the unissued equity and cash payments for deferred consideration towards acquisition costs. I guess the Xm share placement will be at circa 60p/share...also it removes cash from the books leaving the co a little more open to reaction to any profit warnings. I suspect that lady is still selling shares into the market

Anyone know of events that might be driving the current drift?

Frr,

My sympathies, but sadly such are the lows of investing. Hopefully, there are also highs for many, which make it all worthwhile.

I'm sure we've all had investments where we've lost much or all.

Found out I own a massive 150 equivalent shares in ILX which I sold for a net proceed of a whooping £84. I paid over £2000 for Time2Learn about 6 years ago - says a lot for a long term holding. The stockmarket is a ligitimised CON and I've had enough of losing money. Sorry, but I feel gutted!!!

Thanks very much WaxingLyrical for the help. I had 150,000 shares in T2L; I suspect these are considerably less in ILX? So no real cause to celebrate, yes?

Hi frrinvest - yes, your share certificates are still valid, as far as I know, and your shares are now in ILX Group - suggest you get in touch with Capita Registrars 0870 162 3131 who should be able to explain everything to you.

Please can anyone help? Years ago I bought some shares in a company called Time2Learn (bought shares from Everett Financial Management). Is ILX rename of Time2Learn or was it taken over by ILX or something else? The reason why I've asked is because a couple of days ago I recieved "Reports and Accounts 07" from ILX and don't remember too much about it except at some point (a few years) ago I might have read something about ILX and Time2Learn (not sure though).

Thanks in anticipation.

Am I right in assuming that the reason behind Friday's rise (apparently based upon declared Sells) is likely to be that a significant T Buy is being processed?

Interesting activity today - I'm seeing mainly Sells declared against a rising share price Big Buyer perhaps.

Unless we have a big T Sell being processed, it would seem reasonable to expect a tick-up soon.

AA29,

I agree about the disappointment over CP performance; however, the Chairman does make a very clear statement in respect of the Best Practice Division i.e. that the issues have been fully addressed and that the early signs, a series of new and repeat contract wins, are most encouraging.

Let's hope things look up from here.

Perhaps a positive trading statement will be out with the AGM in July.

What I didn't like was the way they slipped out the fact that Customer Projects was also poorly performing in the year (no mention of this in April). Two out of your three recent acquisitions performing poorly doesn't say much about senior management's grip on the business.

A good positive day's trading, which will hopefully continue over the coming weeks - IMHO, we should be back to the 80s before long; however, we may require additional positive news to push the share price much higher than that.

Results pretty much as expected. Good growth overall, with the exception of EPS and that was always a possibility after the acquisitions - whilst there are areas that need to improve, I still feel that the Market drastically over-reacted after the previous profit-warning.

Undoubtedly, ILX have significant work to do in sorting out ML and any other weak areas, but I'm very happy to sit tight.

Except for the recent disappointing news re Mount Lane, the Company has in fact made good progress, growing and becoming more profitable. It would be nice to see a sustained period of organic growth, with only minor acquisition in order that the debt burden can be reduced and the EPS can grow.
