I believe this may be an opportunity for Ilika to attain more government funding

It’s great to see the U.K. government offering support to all innovation companies with the chance to showcase their products and services. Hopefully Ilika will get the chance to do so soon.
Closed in 3 weeks so not long to wait, yet more potential news in the near time pipeline. |
NT to buy at 40p, once the market makers fill all the orders can see a quick move up through the 40s |
Yep, they are whopper buys, bodes well for tomorrow and next week |
Wow! 2 x £680k trades at 40 pence just went through as delayed trades.
Things are getting interesting |
So much news due which is the driving force behind this reevaluation.
There are big players taking positions for the leg and for commercialisation of both Stereax (month or two) and Goliath (year end).
What an opportunity Ilika presents with such a low mcap |
had a look at 41p, dropped back a little since, hopefully both legs in 40's tomorrow, share price is still way too cheap |
From another site: “ Another very positive Article which summarises recent achievements and upcoming key milestones ..
“ |
Obviously you have flipped |
2025 will be a seminal year for Ilika. The ups and downs seem to be behind us now. Cutting edge SSB that can be manufactured on existing battery production lines is the turning point. Goliath Design point 7 and 8 expected soon. Goliath prototype production line due to be online by June 25.
Stereax is bit closer to FDA approval and production. Months if not weeks.
Huge year for Ilika. |
Pretty much our only hope in next gen battery technology. Wonder if anyone in govt recognises that IKA is highly vulnerable to an overseas bid at todays silly valuation. This could be another ARM in the making ... lots of OEMs evaluating a bid IMHO |
Held up well today given that someone was offloading a few. Tomorrow should see the upward trend continue. I see Ilika are now an SRO on the FDA website. Meaning FDA staff are prohibited from purchasing shares. |
For all their faults IKA is at least trying to compete in next generation battery technology, an area dominated by Asian giants. UKBIC also flying the UK flag and deserve credit too. All too often UK companies fail to scale up promising technologies, let's hope IKA gets the right partner to prove you wrong |
Encouraging news, sadly no real substance to it other than ilika achieving an offset printing trial and getting profile up for another hand out..
“UKBIC and Ilika have carried out physical trials to demonstrate preparation and roll-to-roll coating of its proprietary solid state materials”.. this is offset printing.. 150 year old technology |
Encouraging. We just need some indication of comparatives with Li price wise, but of course that is a closely guarded secret. For Goliath to have got this far suggests it is not too far adrift and as Beeezzz suggests in 5433 above the clientele of outfits like Ferrari would wish for the latest and best kit regardless (almost) of cost. |
CEO sounding a lot more upbeat than usual. I think this news fires the starting gun on serious licensing discussions. Goliath starting to sound real, Agratas in prime position to strike a deal but hopefully lots of interest to keep things competitive. And more funding for the APC looks likely |
Agreed, probably undervalued by the market. Gigafactory’s cost billions & G effectively hedges their bets, reduces risk & cost. IKA need to keep hitting targets & provide regular news so the share price goes up & stays up. Confidence is building,, it just needs to hit the tipping point to get us near fair value |
indeed tried to buy some this morning and it was in auction couldnt buy, but seeing a lot of buys,.. |
Positive RNS re scaling up Goliath. More important than the market will probably recognise. And hints that more funding support is likely |
Ferrari have good profit margin, $115K profit per car....
I read they were looking to use YASA UK Axial Flux Motor, maybe wheel hub motors.. |
So Ferrari to launch its first EV in October. They need to be at the forefront of EV performance so they must be one of the companies evaluating Goliath ... just imagine if they decide to take a bet on it... small change for them would put a rocket booster under IKA. I think something like this will happen in H2 this year |
See today govt has abandoned proposal to increase max allowable power of e-bikes from 250 to 500W on the basis apparently of fire risk. (Not, it would seem, because of youngsters tearing about killing and injuring themselves and others.) Anyway, just thought it worth flagging that Goliath solves that problem, or would do if we don’t all pass away naturally before it arrives. |
Not only that, the rise has come following a relatively material update by the company. |
Think we are a way off that yet. Market makers obviously caught short which is always fun |
