Yes and they will have to fight to keep skilled staff too as demand outstrips supply and cost of living rising.

They would be better in a larger outfit imho.

Given that IDE is now a lean mean machine vs a shortage of tech sector employees they may well have become a very attractive target to a much larger outfit. Pure speculation and no idea who would be interested - just a thought.

Hope so - there are SO many shares due news or a re-rating - not fair to list them all here but I think 2022 is going to be a good year for recovery/growth in new tech shares

Interims they made $0.1k Ebitda

Is it me or does Ide look cheap when tech stocks have got ratings like the above ?

I was talking about a buyout price, as ultimately that's where we are headed. Not particularly interested in day to day swings as this is down to certain peeps trading the current range.......

8-9p sounds lovely but can we bare in mind it's 1.3p offer online with little takers
so perhaps getting to 2p would be a starting point or even clearing 1.5p

The large holders/controllers will want to crystalize the value and IDE doing it organically or via buy and build will take years and is risky. Something will be made to happen.

8p would be a hell of result. We just have to wait and see I guess. I have a small holding in my ISA that is in profit, and a large holding in my general share account that is underwater. Mind you it has been this way for years!

I had thought that perhaps the short term loan was a clue as to IDE's future. By March 31st could mean that a buyer is lined up and that the deal is expected to have concluded by that date. 8p/share minimum but would expect that to attract rival bids. Just a possibility- nothing more and please do your own research etc.

Been the same way for a while. If you're not in the limelight share price languishes. If it's going up it tends to continue go do so. This will move when MXC and possibly Kestrel decide it's time it should move.

CMH amazing

Makes just £100k for the year but because it's a improvement and first profit for 5 years the shares have soared 20%, they have quite a few liabilities but not the same as Ide but £5 mil market cap v £100k of profit

What happens if Ide announce say £3mil of profits after tax v £6-7 mil market cap

£1.5 mil ebitda for the year market cap £9 mil

IDE should make 3 times as much v £7 mil market cap.

However (again) their balance sheet is way worse with the debt v cash of Idp
