Investors looking for any buck should not have invested here. You say you will filter me? Why would I care? You are part of the problem, making apologies for the management on every post that you don't like. How can anyone possibly defend this? Do you not wonder why people speculate that you might be in on it? Unbelievable, although it really shouldn't be. Good luck, and I hope I'm completely out before it reaches nominal value - if it's voted through.

Yeah the share price is undervalued that's why they divided the nominal value by a factor of 250 down to 0.001p. Yep great confidence in a rising share price there.

oooo well more to add to the filter list change user name but the same
moan, I have had enough of it... everyone here is waiting on news
or a video update from the event with possible some Q&A to go with it
who knows?? we can only speculate on what J/Q plan are to get share price up
he has already told us on 2 podcast so far that we are very undervalued
and how this new £5m facility is going to impact on ICONIC LAB
going forward.. J/Q can only say so much to investors looking for a quick buck
and he has always said we should think long term...

that's the key...

I'm pretty sure there aren't any shorts placed here, and the only thing we do is drop. There may be a temporary spike on good news, but the spread usually means that it's impossible to sell shares in profit. So far, the only people that have made any money are the management, the fund and the seller of Social Alchemy. All funding guaranteed by the shareholders. How long can this continue?

it's quite normal to get these overdone drop every once in a while
to have a shorts clear out, and when they are gone we will be back up again
in no time.. when buyers return to suck them up....
looking forward to update before weekend....IMO DYOR lots of share price moving
news to come here when J/Q is ready...

That is me that's sold 16 million shares today, I still have a holding here. I have contacted the company with some questions, with the caveat that if they don't contact me before the GM, then I'll vote against every resolution. I doubt it'll make any difference, but I see no other way to get in contact with them.

Jammytass, all you are posting has come from someone who has recently registered on ADVFN and then sent a number of posters PM's with this information.

Do you not think it odd that he has decided to send PM's to people with such information as opposed to posting openly.

It's not that they don't have the skill set it's just the vagaries of the business. They are not running a business that is going to be self sufficient anytime soon. It is likely the entire life cycle of the business will require mug PI funding.

The ICON board so far that they do NOT have the skill set to run a listed company IMHOThey may know how to build a Unilad but the market seems convinced they can't make a profit out of it hence the current share price

So read all the RNS, listen to the interviews given by JQ, DYOR and make your own minds up.

The business plan has the potential for significant upside for the companies SP/market cap over the medium to long term in my opinion.

Only time will tell of course whether that view is correct but I believe John Quinlan, Liam Harrington and Sam Regan-Asante has the skill set, commitment and foresight to achieve this.

Sorry in part off topic again but to some extent relevant.

GDP was another company (totally different business) being written off and a number of trolls enjoyed making their usual troll like comments. The BOD were quietly working hard in turning the business around and when it became clear they were being successful the share price responded accordingly.

Not strange at all he helped organise the damn event. Mug PIs think well if the board are prepared to meet PIs face to face the business must be bonafide. Everybody seems to forget the Turner Pope event prior to the subsequent 90% collapse in the share price.

Larger events are filmed and broadcast as I'm sure you full well know but I don't think it would be appropriate for an informal event such as last night. I have no doubt they will give much more notice should they arrange such an event in future which I would expect them to do.

I agree that these events could be a good idea if - relevant notice is given, the company engage with those unable to attend, and maybe this event should have been broadcast? This can't be too difficult for a multi faceted social media company to arrange?

In my view hosting such events giving shareholders the opportunity to meet with directors in an informal setting is to be welcomed. So credit to the the BOD for arranging it. I have attended similar events with other companies on a number of occasions and usually found them worthwhile.

Living up in the north of Scotland OrknetyArab clearly makes attending such events a very time consuming and expensive thing to do so only you can answer whether you would think worthwhile. I doubt I would travel that distance for such an event. That is the disadvantage of living in the north of Scotland for such things but I'm quite sure there are other unrelated advantages to living up there. I have in the past travelled to Edinburgh for larger events......however I doubt I would today.

I understood from last night that the BOD are considering holding similar events in the future but I'm quite sure they would give more notice next time.

I have no idea what Maqsood is basing his comments on OrkneyArab. I do agree that we could well have further news of progress in building the business any time and I have posted that previously before last nights meeting. That is based on my reading of previous RNS and listening to JQ's interviews on various mediums.

That wouldn't appear to tally up with what maqsood7 is saying, he said big news soon? It's incredibly confusing following this company. That's why all news should be released only by RNS, then there is no risk of confusion. By all means host an event, but only for specific reasons - raising funds from institutional investors for instance. I will continue to attempt to contact the company and will feedback any information I receive.

They will not engage in any recorded correspondence. Any correspondence that can be reproduced in a court of law or at an insolvency hearing is off limits.
