I have a buy order at 90p and a sell order at 300p :) Relaxed to hold what I have and wait plus happy to add more at 90p if the opportunity arises before funding news.
Funding news wont be far off imo.

Believe me, the MM's will swing these up unexpectedly from here, just make sure you've got the holding you want.

I fear that is exactly what will happen, a delay a drop or no rises in between then rns stating funding is in place , it's a lottery as to when, I don't think they will hang around too long though they need to get moving due to current high oil price.

Up 4 x since 20ps and that includes a large dilution! Hardly stubborn

I don't think any news did get out, just expectation.

Remember the share price was over 80p at the end of March

Just had a shiver run down my spine at the thought of silence from the board for weeks then an RNS saying 'delighted to announce funding negotiations now extremely, extremely advanced and look forward to updating on progress in due course'

I'm hoping 'The Market' will recognise the value of I3e and see the picture as clearly as we all think it is when the funding is announced because it has been very stubborn to do so so far.

Funding will bring a stop to this volatility, until then there maybe buying ops. It will come.

I think one problem is the news got out before award and so rise to 90p already factored in a lot of after award rise anyway, eg it was 66p before news got out, so in effect has seen 40 percent rise

Let it drop to 80p, then we can all pile in!

From the chart I can only see support at 80p which is a bit worrying!

The only good news is that I believe the BOD are so confident that they really aren't bothered by any fluctuations at this stage, lack of communication to me shows they are simply busy setting up everything and don't really care if it dropped to any price as they know in fairly short time it's going to be paying them huge rewards. There's no panic or need to reassure

I agree, I can understand sells but can't see why new investors are not coming in especially when I see other oilers with less prospects have buyers , my rough calcs show if they sold the company even at this stage it's worth way more Thane district price and trading at roughly half what liberator is worth.

The licence award now worth only 6p on the share price and it is not even 9am!

What puzzles me is the desperation to dump from the larger players yet an absence of appetite from buyers?

I fully expect a re-rate when the BoD finally get round to releasing funding news but from what level will be the question.Specially if they drag their heels with it.

Frustrating at present

Once the funding has been announced, maybe in a couple of weeks, what would be the next significant news. ? Spud of first well. When would that likely be?

When I spoke to Neill Carson after the LSE presentation in London a good few months ago we spoke about the potential within the corporate presentation. He simply said he likes to air on a very conservative side, that way, any more is a bonus.

on p.7 of the corporate presentation they say by h2 next year i3e intend to:"Derisk and convert upside potential of up to 234 MMbbl"234 mmbbl is the high case recoverable oil in the Liberator phase 1 + phase 2 east + phase 2 west cprs. The presentation says to me that i3e believe there is significantly more oil recoverable than the 80mmbbl best view from the cprs, but it needs:1) appraisal via a new well in phase 2 west and further analysis to demonstrate the oil seen in figure 5-2 of the phase 2 cpr is there.2) use of techniques such as horizontal drilling and water injection to get closer to Blake recovery factors.I hope we'll hear more about the plans to maximise recoverable oil when we get the funding announcement.

70% CoS is nearer to an appraisal well rather than exploration well

If I get time I shall take a red of the CPR & see what I can evaluate from it

HPotter, 1913I echo that, if they can prove oil beyond the P2E saddle, then the entire structure will dwarf the 11mln Liberator P2 we have. But of course, they can only prove drilling and that means funding will be required soon if not very soon.Exploration/Appraisal/Development all depend on funding - operationally there is no other way forward here.Cash

Could I recommend anyone looking at the Phase 2 CPR takes a good look at Figure 5-2, 'Cross Section from NW to SE showing fluid contacts'.

It really puts the potential reservoir of Phase 2 East and West into perspective.

We just need a well to prove the oil is there.

Thanks Cash,so they are prospective resources - wonder what the GCoS% is - may check over the CPR this week for this field

Euclid, 1901#As Liberator phase2 west is considered to be prospective resources, not discovered like phase 2 east, the P50 prospective resource volumes (135mln OIP) have 35% RF (47 Mln bbls). The real question to me is if the sands are present in West, how far they extend and if the ultimate RF factor is more like Blake (life to date 60%). A well will be drilled later on this year to confirm either way.Cash

I'd say that the article is more a fun piece on Algy Cluff with a couple of North Sea soundbites for relevance to the 30th Round awards. The journo has done a bit of research on Algy but none on the North Sea.Still, that's journos for you. With a market cap a quarter of ours you have to ask yourself

Great North Sea article in the Mail today. Centred on CLNR but definitely worth a read as relevant to i3e imo
