Just part of the process in building a successful company. Roll on funding news, I reckon within 20 trading days.

Funding will be 1st June. So they can sell them into higher priced market

I wonder if the final $1,000,000 they still have will be paid off in the funding deal?I'd sooner I3E did a small raise (placing) at say 80p or 90p now to pay off JCAM. Fewer shares would be issued and I3E would end up with the cash rather than JCAM making mega moolah. But it probably doesn't work like that if you want funders in the future.

Look a converting loan means a successful funding round. More shares Yes, but funding secured... Pleased with news

This had been expected. It's very likely they were forward selling into strength. It makes the price chart a bit smoother which, if nothing else, is helpful.

Begorrah, I think that very likely. I'm pleased to get these out of the way so this is good news imo. Volume is a lot higher and if think their is a reasonable chance of funding news next week or so. This is coming together very well.

Well it's only 2.5 percent of shares in total but higher percentage in shares available. Good news is it's less debt, and in my opinion clear sign funding agreement is close, e.g clear the decks etc.

JCM converting another $500000 so I'd expect they've been forward selling

We have all taken a bit of a beating today, but as they say nothing goes up in straight lines. If there were no dips we could not buy them. Keep the faith. The funding news cannot be too far off and that will propel us again. 101.5 was the low today, so let's hope a round 100p provides strong support if the oil market continues to wobble in coming days.

Well done Brooko, we all know how fickle Aim is and the games the market makers play, this could quite easily go back to the 80's no matter how good the fundamentals are.

caters,

They must have had a pretty good idea they'd get the block, so will surely have planned for it, with the original plan just to develope Liberator as a backstop.

good posts cash & tgg,

I'd love to know what's going on, but the significantly larger resource figures (nb, much of contingent and prospective) coupled with the higher PoO must be tempting the BoD to be thinking of alternatives.

However, if they go chopping and changing too much, word will get around and no one will want to JV with them.

I suspect their best bet is to tweak the draft deals and, perhaps, play one potential partner off against another to a limited extent.

Time will tell.

BTW, $13 mill sounds cheap for a NS well. Maybe that's the cost of a cheap & cheerful poke, but hard to imagine a well completed & ready for production could be drilled for so little.

Perhaps $13 mill is the cost of an unsuccessful well; in the event of HC being found (more likely than not), they'd carry on drilling with a horiz section & spend rather more? Sounds like a plan!

They don't need the $200 mill upfront to get to first oil from the modified phase 1. I'm assuming they know what they're doing & when they choose to share, all will become clear.
