23/5/2018 22:28 | an early exit for the CEO & CFO | caters
23/5/2018 22:25 | Brooko, Correct. Some fund managers can buy at the £50m level, most start at a £100m market cap company. Caters, what the hell are you on about? | showme01
23/5/2018 22:23 | Answering my own question, they'll want to offset risk with the appraisal well.... so a farm in (or equivalent) looks likely. | caters
23/5/2018 22:21 | she says it tastes really good :-) | caters
23/5/2018 22:19 | Hope the chicken was properly cooked ;-#)) | thegreatgeraldo
23/5/2018 22:17 | So how do they fund an appraisal well without giving 33% away to someone when they might be able to sell 100% on to someone else? | caters
23/5/2018 22:13 | hi tgg, I was typing that long post and also getting pestered by eldest darling daughter about whether her crispy sweet chilli chicken was properly cooked at the time you posted your reply :-) | caters
23/5/2018 22:11 | Adding to that, why did I3E make only one application in the 30th round? My view is that by limiting I3E to Liberator and, thereby, to a neat, standalone development, they are hanging a huge "for sale" sign on the front door, imho. Appraise the known extension, promise some more on trend and get the drilling lined up for production, and what a great, not-so-little, package to sell on. NC and GH have 17% EACH of that! The eventual take out price will leave NC and GH (and their families) sitting really quite pretty for the rest of their lives. And I think they'll want to sell on quite soon - before something comes along and upsets the apple-cart. Anything extra, ie, new oil/gas fields, beyond Liberator now means buying at much higher prices (since POO is high), funding risks, dilution, timing and execution risks. I don't think I3E will be a stand-alone listed company in 12 months' time. | caters
23/5/2018 22:09 | That makes sense.... remove uncertainty with the app well, dangle the explo upside & exit stage east, or west...phase 3! ;-#)) | thegreatgeraldo
23/5/2018 22:02 | tgg I think it's appraisal well and then sell the lot or - rather - get taken out :-) | caters
23/5/2018 21:58 | I was once told and I dunno how true it is that a lot of ii’s can’t invest due to their own guidelines until Mcap is at least 50m due to risk... | brooko19
23/5/2018 21:37 | Bloody predictive text. | fardels bear
23/5/2018 21:36 | We're we good or bad? | fardels bear
23/5/2018 21:31 | A mate of mine and fellow investor has been sent a summary of good and bad news in business today. Articles about Standard Chartered, Barclays, Bovis Homes etc and good old i3e :-)) | showme01
23/5/2018 21:29 | Paul can keep it for me. | fardels bear
23/5/2018 21:26 | O/T - Predator Oil and Gas Irish-focused exploration company Predator Oil and Gas is set to raise £1.3m (€1.5m) by floating on the London Stock Exchange, ahead of developing various prospects it holds off the coasts of Ireland and Trinidad in the Caribbean. The company is headed by Paul Griffiths, the former boss of now defunct Irish explorers Island Oil and Gas and Fastnet Oil and Gas. Predator’s shares will start trading tomorrow at 2.8p, giving the company a market value of £2.8m. The development of the Irish assets is dependent on Predator finding a partner to fund 3D seismic studies and/or the drilling of wells. | euclid5
23/5/2018 21:24 | I'm not talking about timelines, but strategy. | thegreatgeraldo
23/5/2018 21:12 | Timelines. Bloody phone. | fardels bear
23/5/2018 21:12 | Nope. All timeliness are elastic in this game. | fardels bear
23/5/2018 21:09 | Quite surprised at the almost total lack of discussion here today about where the company's headng in the next 6-18 months. Anyone still think we'll see first oil from Liberator in Q3/Q4 '18? | thegreatgeraldo
23/5/2018 20:39 | I certainly wouldn't have bought early stage here. Risk reward profile has now changed and I'm happy to be in even the though it cost meore. | fardels bear
23/5/2018 20:29 | Tidy,Forget about Justin Waite, look at the stage of development this company has come to. Those of us who have been long enough know this is the start of major decisions and then immediately onto operations. We are entering one of the most value enhancing stages for the company. Less risk and uncertainty now than when it started out, it will be even less when funding agreement is in place.Cash | cashandcard
23/5/2018 20:21 | Tidy - fyi Justin Waite has been here since the 30's. Either you join him now or miss out. This has a long way to go in the coming 6 to 18 months. | jungmana
23/5/2018 19:55 | Good Lord. Another poster who thinks that bbs influence share prices. | fardels bear
23/5/2018 19:49 | Another Justin Waite pump is what puts me off here. He'll soon have sold and on to the next seed. | tidy 2 |
