I received this at 1100 today , so hopefully it will be resolved soon.

Thanks for that shebaz. I too have been with iDealing for several years and had no real problems. It looks like they've dropped the ball with this one, but hopefully will get it sorted now some of us have been chasing them.

I too am with iDealing.com & have been given a string of excuses as to why I have not received dividend payments for Oct & Nov, including the good old 'the cheque's in the post'

Below is an e-mail received in response to a query to i3E directly :-

Good afternoon shebaz,
Thank you for getting in touch.
In response to your enquiry, I suggest your broker, iDealing, contact Link Asset (i3’s registrar) and confirm where your dividend payments are being made to. All i3 payments are made electronically; the company no longer issues cheques.
If you previously received a cheque for your dividend, you will need to register your banking details with Link Asset. Unfortunately we cannot look in your specific account as you hold shares through iDealing and not directly.
I hope this is helpful and please do not hesitate to get in touch with any future issues.

Yes mikealig ditto for me too. But they did not respond to my "why are you the only broker that they appear to pay by cheque " question. Anyway fingers crossed that the problem has been resolved .Will post when my arrives.

amoslor, that's word for word the email they sent to me yesterday. They also quoted me the relevant terms and conditions that cover this situation. I said I wouldn't trouble them again on this issue.

It's the 'actively chasing' and still being unpaid after over a month that I find hard to reconcile!

Re iDealing
This is an extract from yesterdays email to me .
As per our previous emails to you, we can re-confirm that we have not received the dividend payments from the Company/Registrar, but we are actively chasing the Registrar for the dividend payments and we will distribute them once received in accordance with our terms.

It's unfortunate that the Company has failed to affect payment, but we think this will be a one-off on their part, and that once sorted, we won't have the same dividend issues with them going forward.

I make it 6.975% if it's calculated in a quick and dirty fashion
ie The sum of 12 monthly dividends as a % of current share price.

But that fails to take into account the compounding effect of monthly dividends. The first month's dividend will earn 11 months interest, the second, 10 months and so on. Using an online compound interest calculation tool, the rate comes out at 7.2%
