The Q3 update was operationally fantastic re Canada, now at 23,000boepd - with a year end production rate that will likely exceed the 24,000boepd target.

I remember Shubham Garg, saying how it would instill alot of confidence if they could deliver that year end target number - and I3E look to be perfectly positioned to exceed it. I think it could be that folk are finally realising how cheap this is vs expected growth and positioning themselves accordingly.

It must also be dawning on Canadians, with the expected growth in production will come growth in EPS. As per the Q3 update, Budgeting for FY23 is underway. Once the Capex budget is known, the decision on dividend/distributions will be known shortly after.

Looking back at the Tennyson note; most of this years Capex will result in big FCF growth next year and year after.

Apparently it's below -10 deg C in Calgary at the moment and looking set to continue like that for a while. Brrr ... but mondo gas and elec usage. Alberta electricity is now pretty much 100% gas-generated.

If you want a stock with totally stupendous leverage to AECO prices, and a very undemanding valuation, check out TSX:PEA. Production of c.40,000 boed for a market cap of $250m (because debt and high opex) ...

You'll actually find that I3E are developing the clearwater now, but as for the long term potential that you've brought up, MS stated 30,000bopd target from the clearwater. Almost x8 the production from Surge's acquisition. I3E clearly also have oil reserves or they wouldn't be doing over around 4,400bopd currently of oil and condensate.

37p valuation is very light on our current NOI or our current 154mmboe, but that's your opinion. I don't know who is speculating $1.4bn but that could be achievable on the full development of the Clearwater and Simonette. But fair value is closer to the WHI numbers imo or about 47-49p with room for considerable growth as they drill out those 400+ development wells.
