Wouldn't dare trade this I've held fur so long now and seen how hard it is to trade. the spread is too wide to make any decent profit,as you say buying is and has been a problem with this share at times.

Trump has told OPEC to 'REDUCE PRICES NOW'. (he used capital letters in his tweet - what a numpty)I now fully expect Brent to break $80 very soon.

A simple case of supply and demand. As the demand for this stock surges going forward the supply side will tighten up. Just be patient.

Will it though? Are you brave enough to trade it knowing that when the news comes, if you're out you're going to find it next to impossible to get back in.

For a share with purposely a small free float there's an endless supply !

How odd. Fourth of July and not a single post on I3E board. Makes me wonder a little.

Think a few holders last week thought it was the end of a good run and bailed out when the price dropped. As we have seen, it didn't take long for someone to mop them all up. Shame I didn't have any funds to buy more 8-(

LOL!And true. They've got to just keep shaking us PIs out of the tree.If this share were more liquid and I could be sure of getting back in, I'd consider trading a very small number of shares on what looks like a quiet day. But the lack of liquidity on the offer stops me from doing this.I'll just have to switch off the computer and enjoy my life whilst Neill and Graham make everyone a boat load of money ;-)

Caters, I agree. The BoD do not need to do a placing ( they did say at the AGM that the funding they have entered into is non dilutive ). I think the idea of the education roadshow was to give the ii a heads up that there could be some good short term liquidity once funding news comes out. Graham has said to me previously they would like institutions to have apposition in i3e as it supports the share price moving forwards. Time will tell.

That sort of thing does happen but is stymied when the MM's tug the share price down to trigger stop losses and try and create some panic only to find PI's loading up and exacerbating the lack of stockNot dissimilar to what happened last week

Well in my experience the iis give a huge buy order to the mm of choice (or preferably more than one). These mms signal with some strange buy and sell order quantities, then they all drop the ask massively to trigger as many stops as possible, mms fill order and price goes back up so fast the dispossessed can't buy back in. If order not complete mms do it again until it's filled... Or am I just cynical?

So the only way for IIs to build a decent position is through the open market if no large holders are selling and the CFO says how much they (BOD) don't want to dilute.GH said at the AGM that dilution is to be avoided. Graham was pleased that there were fewer than 40m shares in issue and it sounded like he wants to keep it that way. Suits me fine. But if IIs want in, how do they get a slice other than on the open market?Graham and Neill clearly see that the share price is really undervalued so why on earth would they do a placing (even at a modest premium) now?I don't think they will. The IIs will have to buy on the market or hunt around via brokers for holders of large chunks of stock. This is an unusual situation for a small AIM oiler. Exceptional.

Demand will certainly outstrip supply going forward to first drill. Low political risk, low risk development drilling, additional recoverable reserves to be added along the way and a high oil prices all tick the boxes for institutional support. From my experience they always follow sometime after everyone else.

Coscos, agree. After going to the AGM, there were a few suits talking to the directors about the presentation. We left the room then but I guess it is institutions looking at taking positions. No liquidity for them ATM but there will no doubt be some profit taking on funding and a great opportunity to accumulate. It won't do the share price any harm either!

It won't be long before an institution makes a move to pick up say 3% of the company and then the real rises will come. Just need the contracts signed off and we're away.

Looks like there is a bit of stock about which is great as the more that can be shifted pre funding, the better. JCAM I'm told are holding longer term now so it can only be City Financial or the Swiss PI that bought a load of options at 30p.
It's coming together nicely.
