08/2/2017 09:26 | I like this one-just grabbed some for the SIPP. | cumnor
08/2/2017 03:05 | They have an article in today's ( 8th.Feb. ) Aberdeen Press and Journal, page 35,if your interested Most of it is news that we already know about. | bengee
07/2/2017 22:29 | Wrong thread I spose? But a bit of a disappointment here, after such a great start to the day. Perhaps the mm's thought it was a drill result rns? 💤 | rayrac

07/2/2017 19:14 | Sheep_Herder, generally around $3 to $4 per barrel undeveloped would be normal for a conventional reservoir. However this is unconventional, the ultimate recovery factor is a guesstimate and could be anywhere between 10 and 40% and won't be narrowed down without several years production. Therefore in my opinion the barrels HUR have should be heavily discounted. I think somewhere between $1 and $2 per barrel is likely. | ngms27
07/2/2017 18:29 | Can anyone point me at data for how much a discovery might get per barrel in the case of a buyout? I'm struggling to enter the correct search terms in Google. :-) | sheep_herder
07/2/2017 18:14 | I'm with ngms and Leeson on this and am equally sure the big boys are getting frisky. greg, some would say the share price went up yesterday to reflect today's news! In any event I know we will move higher over the coming days. This is getting more and more exciting!!! | chessman2
07/2/2017 18:12 | If everything goes to plan and they have circa 1.5 billion barrels in place and oil averages 65$ over next two years what does the board expect the price to be? I am personally looking for £2 over a 2 year timeframe - am I being g unrealistic?? Opinions sought | eringael
07/2/2017 18:08 | Can't believe this dropped on today's news lol. | gregpeck7
07/2/2017 17:52 | My God. We agree. :) | leeson31
07/2/2017 17:39 | The bigger the resource gets, the more attractive it becomes. It will need big oil to develop this given the non conventional nature and likely ENORMOUS size. I think Halifax is likely the last well to be drilled by Hurricane, though potentially I'm sure they would like to poke Warwick ASAP. I'm certain the big boys are now getting frisky and want the action lock, stock and stinking barrel. | ngms27
07/2/2017 17:28 | Deliberately stopped....Or they couldn`t find anyone to pay the right price. Will it be the same this time round? We`ll see... | nicebut
07/2/2017 17:23 | HD Still here!!! | buzzzzzzzz
07/2/2017 17:11 | nicebut, I thought you were gone! My thoughts now are $1 per barrel x 2b = $2b. I'm waiting for £1 plus per share or even more. Keep an eye on what ngms says as he is more often than not right on the ball. | chessman2
07/2/2017 17:05 | I agree cashandcard- The partner or farm in is key to this. So does a partner want to see this flow first? Bit catch 22 isn`t it. I wonder why no partner could be found first time around. Will it make difference now? | nicebut
07/2/2017 16:38 | Agreed cash. If Halifax delivers as the company expects, there should be a big rerating by the investment community. I see from last week's presentation that the prospect is already shaded dark green from Lancaster to the very Northern edge of the Halifax Block. Maybe they already know enough about the well to have a high degree of confidence that it's coming in to plan. Hope so but will have to wait until they can release some news. | hiddendepths
07/2/2017 15:52 | hd, I think we are yet to see the best of the story here. Halifax, CPR, Warwick and EPS will take this above £1 in time. Its still sinking in for some. I can see a price rerate once a reputable partner gets involved. Cash | cashandcard
07/2/2017 15:29 | taudelta1, I'm invested in both Hurricane and PREM and can see much more gains in both. DL is a shrewd guy! Oil is the now, Lithium is the future. | mike_f
07/2/2017 14:42 | ngms is probably cautiously estimating at 1$ per b, as he is only used to any container being half empty!!! Allowing for a full b, we can perhaps compromise on 2$?!!!lol | enfranglais |
