I only bought IAE mid Jan so on mixed minds about early takeover. I think this takeover is a big factor in our rise.If you look at Faroe, Dalek have @14% holding. So this looks like a build up of assets / investments in the North Sea. So bid speculation for Hur. If you look at premium offered for IAE, it's marginal. If that same margin were offered to our main share holders, I suspect they will be laughed out of the offices.

Delek already had 19% bought so not totally unexpected. They bought in at a premium in the depths of despair so were looking at the long game as well.

Hurricane Energy PLC (LON:HUR) had its price objective boosted by FinnCap from GBX 72 ($0.88) to GBX 91 ($1.11) in a research report sent to investors on Monday morning. They currently have a buy rating on the stock.

Full to brim on this one mate. I honestly don't think the market appreciate the sheer size of the current discoveries.

Don't be surprised that the CPR puts Lincoln/Warwick and Halifax/Lancaster (in the success case) as the 2nd and 3rd largest discoveries in the North Sea ever on a contingent resources basis. They have to be larger than Forties 2.5boe for that.

strong upward momentum on the stochastic indicator, and daily macd using 7 14 9 paremeters, turned up.. quite strong

maybe some kind of offfer leaked from the data room telbap :-)

or, a combo of things, strong oil, halifax news gets nearer each day, share price in strong uptrend anyhow, farm in/out/deal expected - quite a few positive things, discount to NAV, warwick news from the co. presentation pdf last week, lots of things..

roll on a squid :-) or more if the likes of BP make a full offer for GLA, imo, 200p !
