ngms always asks for his/her half pint in a pint glass, so that he/she can confirm his/her stance as a 'glass half empty' (even before starting) type of guy/gal!!! lol

But of no statistical significance given the small sample size thus any conclusion is likely to be false ;)

"Most BB opinions are overly optimistic"

ngms27 - In the most detailed piece of scientific statistical research since DNA was sequenced, a poll on here when asked the question: "How many of you think we're looking at one huge connected field here?" concluded by a margin of 13-1 that indeed we are looking at one huge connected field!

Not ramping, pure science;-)

The Company plans to drill the Halifax Well below local structural closure and will then perform an open hole drill stem test ("DST"). In the event of a successful DST, it is envisaged that the well will be deepened to investigate the oil water contact.Dr Robert Trice, Chief Executive of Hurricane, said:"This has already been a hugely successful drilling campaign for Hurricane and the Halifax Well marks an exciting opportunity with which to close it. The prospect is also a logical conclusion to the drilling programme as, following the success of the Lancaster Pilot Well, we believe that the oil column extends beyond the Lancaster block boundary and potentially up to the Halifax Prospect. We look forward to updating the market with initial well results towards the end of Q1 2017

Torrid or torridness usually refers to extremely hot weather!!

A torrent is a fast flowing stream.

I called them - It was a typo. They meant 809p. The Rhona ridge is 30km long, filled with oil, and Gisele Bündchen is sitting on my face.

bit like opinions on BB's, ngms27.

Yet the share price trends up, with material mcap appreciative news..... post a successful halifax drill, imo there'l be ~1b barrels on 2P in the GLA, i think the mcap could easily warrant ~£1.2b being ~£1/~$1.25 per 2P, thus 100p price target.

There is a great book written by an ex City Broker, if you read that you would know why these reports are written, who they are aimed at and why they are not worth the paper they are written on.

A curiously precise 80.9p.

I suppose it looks much more scientific than a mere finger in the air 80p or even a guesstimate of 81p.

The major holders will offload some of their stock to lock in gains and make available more funds for the next fund raising at a higher price. Now is just consolidation.........always happens......strength will build again and then its the next leg upwards. Just need patience.

Halifax is bonus points ,we have to wait for cpr which in my mind will make a big difference to what has already been recorded should revalue company should create a further upward trend

Buying at these prices are really cheap considering the potential thats why all the shares sold by some of the big investors have all been brought up .
