i wonder if theres another permit running up North east from halifax, along the ridge... an out of rounds one again would be great :-) at this rate they'll be joining up/boundry to BP's Clair field ~55km away...

They came up pretty quick with the Halifax drill target so yes it would be interesting as to what else they have in their back pocket?

Exciting times.

If Halifax is successful and found to be an extension of Lancaster, I think they would drill an additional well between them to further prove the link

Buffy page 12 my understanding is we have rig to drill Halifax until April they will have built in probably a month of bad weather contingency ,if weather is good early 2017 then perhaps wildcard ,but they may be able To do further drilling in before releasing this rig, suppose the ffd plan then continues for rest of 2017 on what they have from Lincoln and game changer halifax,Lincoln is low risk appraisal its being appraised so in my book they can take as long as they wish

Thanks lt also agree with latest post on lse re stril polar cargo I recall when drilling horizontal we had quite a few trips with chemicals etc which they need permits for and have. they do need supplies and could be just replenishment so they always have supply on the rig

I managed to find out through contacts that it is a Hedge Fund shorting the stock. My contact would not divulge the name.I hope that Hurricane monitor this board because one of the institutional/large shareholders must be loaning the stock for a small percentage return. If we have a few days of high volume say 10mn shares on the back of good news then the shorter will hopefully drown in our new oil discoveries!!

Huddleston and Crystal amber still off loading shares so looks like they are desperate for cash because who would sell now when expected news releases would propel the share price to record highs.

Should also bear in mind that those warrants are valued at 6p NAV on CRS balance sheet, which, as time goes by, will be increasing in value and adding to CRS's 'problems'

In their admission document they stated they would not be investing in companies with a market cap of >100m and no single investment in any one company will represent more than 30 per cent of the Gross Asset Value of the Company at the time of investment.

The above can be treated as 'guidelines' but seems to me CRS will continue to unload shares in Hurricane for years to come; however they are a responsible bunch and I would hope that as Hurricane firms up (say middle of next year?) they would offload a large percentage of their shares to w willing buyer rather than drip feed into the general market.

laser re #12845, I'm not sure about that. Crystal Amber and Kerogen between them had 45% of the company before the latest RNS. Together they almost already have 50% of what might be a very big discovery. I don't know how they would proceed, but surely they would wait and see?

That's why I posted on II that I thought their warrants come into it. They have 23-1/3 million warrants exercisable at 20 pence for three years (from May, I think) which is 2.2% of Shares In Issue, and exercising them would give them over 16.5%.

I take your point, and someone else's point that their compliance office would be putting a brake on, but I can't see CA reducing into the market. (Except, of course, that they just did!) What might work as a strategy to build up a position in an overshorted share is dangerous if not mad when you have 15% at risk.

I certainly could see CA cashing in to an institution, or accepting a bid.

Gary my view crystal amber will be waiting for an end game now either by a takeover or if not they will reduce a percentage of their holding to farmin partner,

The 30th November statement should be released in next few days

richardhewson,

Have a look at the shorts on TLW. 15.27%....Basically unchanged for a few months- but high % and yet stock is up nearly £2 on its low from earlier this year...Few large hedge funds are in loss at the moment- Odey being one...

IMO with HUR it`s more ii and others selling, as we`ve seen more recently, because they are in profit. Nothing wrong with that...When they clear then it goes on up- hopefully.

shorted stock can only be sold via the book, and stock via sets is always T2..and all these parrticular trades wil be AT trades.

so those trades with Ordinary trade with 'c' conditions attached can be either buys on extended settlement, or sells from priorly opened T tardes, but these particular trades wont be shorts.....

cheers
