10/11/2016 19:38 | I don't wish to ramp this up and actually my posts will really have little effect on the share price I am a patient investor. I do think game changing development is on the cards. I reckon if hur releases the new cpr & opens the data room soon, show they can implement the quickest route to production then further investment will follow. Institutions are now aboard at 34p which is a good sign . All these things take time, the new management will have settled in place now and with kerogen aboard we have accelerated. This latest Lincoln drill brings further excitement, we know there was a drill on the edge of structure some years ago and what with all the latest seismics they must be fairly confident on Lincoln. Its going in the right direction for me, personally will commit more funds monthly. I will keep the board updated with shipping movements even though perhaps boring to some it keeps the thread going | laserdisc
10/11/2016 14:37 | no change 31/10 crystal amber | laserdisc
10/11/2016 14:23 | yes best of luck, I am here for long term, might suit me a takeover approach as it would put a stop on my monthly buying,i feel sure crystal amber will move on at the right price, this would give a good % of stock to the right buyer, on the boat front supply vessel Stril polar has made good headway 2 hrs ahead of schedule be arriving rig soon Aberdeen to rig in less than 21HRS 45MINS , SIEM GARNETwill be following on and at the rig tonight 8pm | laserdisc
10/11/2016 13:28 | best of luck Orient :-) hope you're well! cheers | leeson31
10/11/2016 13:06 | I've been buying these lately..have managed to get over 300k relatively easily under 36p. There's been a big seller knocking about which is surprising given the recent news. I've bought for the long term and expect a take-over approach at some point down the line given their assets :-)) | 0rient
10/11/2016 12:40 | The variances on shares awarded on excess applications must have been on a sliding scale dependent on how many were applied for. In my Barclays account I received 7,471 from an application of 25,000 (approx. 29%). In my Stocktrade (SIPP) account I received 5,716 from an application of 15,000 (approx. 38%) | damac

10/11/2016 12:18 | Interviewing Oil and Gas Analyst Gaurav Sharma - he's predicting oil price to remain $40 to $60 for the next few years | summer684
10/11/2016 12:15 | contingency of 15 days for bad weather etc built in to that 45days was looking at weather outlook this morning pretty good going forward re the winds but things can change quickly, all in all sit back and relax pleased with the latest outlook re share price, one can add a good discount in to the figures and its still a strong buy at these levels, value will come out ,patience is the key, other factors will dictate but keep the oil price around $50 and happy with that | laserdisc
10/11/2016 12:13 | Thanks HTL of 3 i Another nice little piece from Malcy. "HUR announced yesterday that they had spudded the Lincoln well targeting a similar prospect to the recent find at Lancaster. If in line with expectations the discovery may be of the order of around 250m unrisked resource barrels which given its closeness to Lancaster would make those barrels all the more valuable. Given the weather out there timings are more than usually difficult to predict, I would expect around 45 days plus or minus for bad conditions. There is no EWT planned and I assume that with the weather in mind the well will be logged but not tested, perfectly satisfactory if the result is what they are hoping for after the analysis of the Arco oil interval below the sandstones." | garymegson

10/11/2016 11:43 | Analyst Kate Sloan says if the new wells are successful the Greater Lancaster Area could be seen to contain as much as 800mln barrels of crude.Sloan highlighted that Hurricane is one of the few oil firms with near-term material drilling catalysts, development milestones and de-risking potential over the next 6-12 months. And for these reasons she reckons Hurricane is a 'strong buy'."Success could, in our view, significantly increase the attractiveness of the Lancaster project to interested industry partners - if both are successful, Hurricane could be looking at a 800 mmbbl + wider area development," Sloan said. The analyst added: "We recommend buying the shares ahead of results from the two exploration wells (first results expected Dec/Jan), which could add significant volumes and value (both tangible and intangible), and currently come as free options at the current share price."This timing would also gain investors exposure to the valuation uplift that we would expect on EPS sanction in 2017."(Credit Proactive Investors) | kdr246
10/11/2016 11:42 | Proactive .... Macquarie's new price target of 68p suggest around 80% upside to the current price of 37p, but that doesn't include the potential exploration upside (a two well programme started yesterday). The exploration projects could be worth a further 18p per share (so in theory Macquarie sees the price as high as 86p, which would be 132% upside).Analyst Kate Sloan says if the new wells are successful the Greater Lancaster Area could be seen to contain as much as 800mln barrels of crude. | kdr246
