People selling in the market are not shorting. They are simply selling shares they own.

You can only short stock via a CFD company and these trades are not ordinary transactions that are shown on advfn trade pages.

Looking at the trade action today and many others we certainly have an active shorter , just look at all the round figure selling, loads of them. Interesting to see the jump on the share price again today, however, Brent did jump over the weekend and again today?

I thought they may have lowered when the bonds were repaid, that has not happened. Must be a position against something no expert, believe a short position may have been taken for lower amounts around 12p as we have a few million on offer around that level.
No expert but figures seem static since April/May

Yep the Government is going to issue new licences but not sure how that would deliver near term production or value which is the stated strategy. The results should be in a few weeks so we might as well wait till they tell us what they have decided.In the meantime I would expect well 6 to be shut down for routine scheduled maintenance very shortly...for 7-10 days hopefully. Next offload 2nd week October i guess.

Could would should..whatever, we are currently a 1 well company with hopefully a 2 year life..we , i don't believe are permitted yet for well 8. We have no idea what opportunities they are investigating and I'm not sure short term no risk production opportunities are going for a song right now. You have to value on knowns not pie in the sky. If they confirm some earth shattering strategy then fine i will factor in but not before as the main thing that has restored some value here is the oil price and some decent operating. The current management likely haven't added much value at all and obviously tried to remove what little was left last year. So they are somewhat untested on strategy and rather slow in making decisions it seems. I hope someone makes an offer and removes risk inherent in single asset companies that fairly values balance sheet , future production , further development potential and hopefully useable tax losses.

Guys it’s not worth 347p but equally it’s not worth 8p. I’d guess 20-25p with the zero debt, licenses (which oft get forgotten about), tax credits and cash generation.

Don’t think that’s too ambitious or too far away tbh.

HUR could acquire other companies with reserves/production using the growing cash pile as well as drill P8.

Given the profits HUR are currently making from P6 alone then a £300 million annual profit could be reached sometime in the future if HUR is still an independent company that is

If my aunt had...No its not impossible they may start producing from one of their other licences..please let me know which one? Also if the best option the company has with all its data is a pretty small tie back to the AM I think one needs to accept this is rather a different animal than thought in 2019..is there upside ..sure..is it anything like the scale imagined back then ..nothing like.
