12/10/2021 09:01 | Date on which threshold was crossed: October 8. (Friday) Probably closing date. Looks like they had sight of whatever caused the rebound middle of last week. | wbodger
12/10/2021 08:42 | nufcfan, one day Hur will be toast. It's not if it's when. In the meantime some will make good money, many are hyping here, but don't get caught holding the baby. | ngms27
12/10/2021 08:05 | Problem is that Saba holding 25% of CA wouldn't like CA to lose while they're holding 26% of HUR.Both are sharks and managed by clever people. CA knows more about HUR than average shareholder. Perhaps Saba knows too by now. | marmar80
12/10/2021 07:50 | cheery thoughts. ta! | officerdigby
12/10/2021 07:46 | Yes SABA have hedged the discount by shorting some of CAs larger holdings ..no sign of them shorting in Hurricane though...not sure why?If CA find strategic buyers for their holdings which seems their intent from communications SABA would need to move quickly to cover positions..they might see some squeezes! | kooba
12/10/2021 07:43 | Ah..yes SABA have aggressively built a sizeable holding in CA and although they are signalling for the fund to be wound down likely over a period of time due to the discount to asset value you would think they have done their homework on the underlying holdings wouldn't you. | kooba
12/10/2021 07:39 | Read somewhere SABA shorting CA holdings..Is that real? | officerdigby
12/10/2021 07:34 | Sorry, should have said biggest shareholder, Saba Capital Management | marmar80
12/10/2021 06:44 | CAs parent company? | kooba
11/10/2021 22:43 | CA perhaps has not enough money to make an offer for all remaining HUR in case of reaching 30%. They are not too far now from that level.Well, if they have no funds for takeover then who has them? Loading up stock at this time wouldn't have any sense if there was no real plan behind it in my opinion. I feel that CA's parent company will step in somehow.Another less likely possibility would be CA dumping all the other stocks and buying HUR.Definitely intesting times ahead of us here. | marmar80
11/10/2021 19:50 | Cheers Laserdisc ..hopefully will secure something in the 80s for this offload fingers crossed. | kooba
11/10/2021 17:28 | Walter Mitty | tradoil
11/10/2021 17:24 | Ngms has told us a zillion times that HUR is/will be toast…..who remembers his posts during and around the court case…pure pantomine and he doesnt hold a position !!……. | nufcfan
11/10/2021 17:04 | CA nominated the two NEDs who had previously acted as O&G advisors to the fund but they are not on CA payroll and if CA are dealing they cannot be wall crossed (inside) at this point so will only have information that is public. They did however commission work at the time of the high court action both on the assets and the financial position. So my guess would be CA are doing their own thing on their own viewpoint. CA were also independently contacted by Bluewater. If CA was in any way shadow running the the show then i know the communications would be substantially different !With results due Thursday and a further update on production due any time might pay to see what the executives have to say as they normally are a dampener!! CA obviously doesn't agree with them! | kooba
11/10/2021 16:34 | Just re read the judgement on the financial plan rejected by the High Court. Interesting reading re both the plans by the Ahc off-road bond holders who were waiting for the judgement to then re negotiate the tender for the Aoka Mizo and Bluewater. Bluewater informed CA that they were prepared to negotiate a rolling yearly or six monthly contract. Many will know this but it Amy be about the appropriate time for the negotiations to conclude. | bill hunt
11/10/2021 16:25 | They're not silly, 2 boys on the shop floor are telling them something. | cyrilsneer1
11/10/2021 16:23 | Are they going for 30%? | fiddling12
11/10/2021 16:23 | CA increases stake yet again! Now, they own 26.68%. I take it that forthcoming news is very good. | sji
11/10/2021 15:51 | I think we will see 5p by end of this month | marmar80
11/10/2021 14:44 | Volatile day. | billynotsilly |
