28/9/2021 16:03 | I'm sure he does...don't fret yourself ngms. You certainly are in need of a lot of attention today trying to trash a stock having a huge positive volume move just shows your neediness...enjoy. | ![]() kooba

28/9/2021 15:53 | The bonds are actually trading on a 3y high. 3 years ago Spirit were farming in to GWA, MC was circa £1Bn, NGMS was bullish but the bonds were still trading lower than today. How is that for perceived risk ? | ![]() sloppyg
28/9/2021 15:43 | Hurricane conv Bid Ask 80.16 88.04 Going better too.. The tender was not fully subscribed at 78c despite ngms doom mongery ,he ,he ,it looks like many bond holders believe they will get paid out in full. With the cash gone on the buyback one could argue the risk on the balance is higher if production ceased..but the bonds are trading higher..go figure. | ![]() kooba

28/9/2021 15:39 | $80 oil soon you know what that means for HUR cheap | ![]() stockhunters
28/9/2021 15:36 | Hurricane Energy is currently the most undervalued O&G share trading around globally IMHO, and now with USD$80 Brent along with new competent Board of Directors in place, anything less than 20p+ here is not reflecting “Fair Value” at all. | ![]() cashisking76
28/9/2021 15:36 | Who are you trying to convince ? Your self ! | ![]() kcowe
28/9/2021 15:32 | I have done my DYOR and at 20p the shares will have a market cap of £300m. Where's that going to come from? Certainly not Lancaster. | ![]() ngms27
28/9/2021 15:27 | No, given the juicy coupon the bonds would be trading close to par if there weren't perceived risk. | ![]() ngms27
28/9/2021 15:23 | Thanks for that jc2. I think you're saying bonds are effectively held down by Delta hedging, which is a dangerous strategy with PoO spiking. | ![]() wbodger
28/9/2021 15:16 | Please do not say the obvious. Even companies that can repay their debt, bonds are not on par. So there's arbitrage, demand and supply. The bonds here are not precisely tradeable as it's small with $150m. I do not think you are listening. Delta hedging is about buying bonds and shorting the shares, ensuring the company cannot do an equity raise. If they double to 10p, the dynamic for funding changes. The stock market reacts faster than the bond market. The bond market will eventually catch up. Can the market predict if crude going to $120-$140? Well perhaps look at crude future for December 2021, Jan 21. ngms2728 Sep '21 - 15:06 - 30112 of 30112 The reason the CB price is below par is due to the markets belief that they won't be able to pay | ![]() johncraven2
28/9/2021 15:06 | The reason the CB price is below par is due to the markets belief that they won't be able to pay them next July. That is also my opinion, which is why I've suggested don't get caught holding the baby. | ![]() ngms27
28/9/2021 15:00 | sloppyg, remember what Buffet said. Rule Number One: Never Lose Money. Rule Number Two: Never Forget Rule Number One | ![]() ngms27
28/9/2021 15:00 | Crystal Amber's results seem to have caused their share price to rise 5.5% surely related to HUR. also the HUR CVB price is still under 80, which makes for a good bet. That's a 25% gain on capital plus an additional 6.75%/0.8 = 8.4% on the coupon, all by next July. | ![]() wbodger
28/9/2021 14:56 | They still have $152,016,000 bond debt outstanding. Remember shares move up and down. | ![]() ngms27
28/9/2021 14:54 | The irony is at 50p with a circa £1Bn MC and an unproven EPS it was a a strong buy but at 0.8p it is a pure gamble........some people simply don't understand the markets are about making money.....the rest is noise | ![]() sloppyg
28/9/2021 14:48 | A few bob? 600%. Please go away you dopey mug. If you had any ability you would see a major reversal of fortune since the bond repurchase. Someone who refuses to change his stance clearly is not an expert. shares move up and down. | ![]() bjorn ironside
28/9/2021 14:46 | Again if you check back I did suggest shorter term it might make a few bob, but just don't get caught holding the baby as the risks are still huge. | ![]() ngms27
28/9/2021 14:44 | 6p close will be 50% up. I will be happy with that. BIB | ![]() bigger is better

28/9/2021 14:40 | All the chat about what if the esp fails etc etc. Remember the 2 Lancaster Wells were fitted with dual pod esps. In this case the upper esp is ran until failure then the lower one is brought into play. Typically you get at least 2yrs out of an esp. There were previous issues (RNS 'd) with well 6 esp but this was rectified and no mention of swapping to the lower esp, hence issue fixed. So I take it as we have redundancy in place with the unused lower pump and still using the upper pump. Also the cabling to each pump is independent and only share topside electrical supplies which is how they are swapped over. I know the procedure as we have recently swapped pumps where I am. | kennybenny |
