romeike - there are plenty of folk on this board who collectively understand this company very well. I don't understand what other positive news you expect.

Do your research and you'll see why there are so many experts investing in this stock.

I am always wary of any company where the only positive news appears to come from either their house broker or from "Proactive Investors" which in my humble, unsubstantiated opinion is more or less "pay for news".

We've obviously got a buyer here in some size. The order is being well handled though, minimising the upward price pressure while soaking up stock.

You always get off-topic rampers when a stock is surging in price. Maybe Larva got a premature ejaculation

Hero hair brand Roots delivers strong growth for INNOVADERMA

THE CHRISTMAS party season is set to be a cracker for InnovaDerma PLC, the UK developer of hair regrowth range Roots and self-bronzer Skinny Tan.

Haris Chaudhry (R) is expanding the company's care portfolio, and taking it into the mass market
The shampoo and conditioner brand (from £10 to £15) is reporting strong sales after launchng this summer both in Superdrug stores, where it will be in more than 521 next year, as well as directly to consumers through its own platform.

Now InnovaDerma is to scale the range with a colour-protect shampoo early in 2018, followed later by a styling product, “which will be the UK’s first anti-ageing one,” says executive chairman Haris Chaudhry.

“These extend our care portfolio taking it into the mass market,” he explains.

Like dual purpose Skinny Tan, which enhances skin tone and tackles the appearance of cellulite, Roots’ Double Effect regenerates while helping customers hang on to what they have got.

InnovaDerma reported sales six times the sector average since launching this summer
Skinny Tan sales spike especially around Christmas and New Year when customers are planning their party outfits
Haris Chaudhry
“Roots is doing exceptionally well in Superdrug, a testament to our first success with Skinny Tan that sells strongly throughout the year both in Britain and now Ireland. Its non-seasonal dimension demonstrates its market potential,” adds Chaudhry who is seeing the knock-on benefits of skimpy glitter fashion trends.

“Sales spike especially around Christmas and New Year when customers are planning their party outfits,” he says.

To kick off peak retail season, savings during the Black Friday (November 24) period will include a limited edition Rose Gold 7 Day Tanner for Marie Curie in Superdrug.

Success for InnovaDerma’s multi-action confidence boosters has dovetailed with increasing demand for anti-ageing products in a looks-focussed world.

The impact spans the years, from the older generation, now the world’s fastest growing population group, to the younger one concerned about wrinkle prevention and the effects of stress and pollution.

The UK is a hub for the group’s new product formulations and manufacturing.

Its operations however, often with different products according to region and particular market opportunities, are international.

In the US its approved laser and LED technology-based helmet-style device to counter hair loss is now heading for Australia and Europe.

Skinny Tan's growth helped double the company's revenue to more than £8.8m for the year
It has presences too in South Africa, the Philippines and South Korea, where its skin brightening, sun screen range has become increasingly popular.

A partnership with the Training Room academy will use Skinny Tan Professional used in its UK beauty courses for therapists.

British-made Roots’ key ingredient Procapil has been proved to promote hair regrowth, an appeal broadened by the products being cruelty, sulphate and paraben-free too.

These, offering rare if not unique off-the-shelf solutions, enter a massive hair loss global market worth £5.8 billion and where 33.2 per cent of the population suffer from the condition, some 1.6 billion men and 650 million women.

For many females it is the ‘after periods they experience the most problems – post-pregnancy and post-menopause.

“Because Roots strengthens the hair and treats issues such as dandruff, oily roots and sensitive scalp,” says Chaudhry, “it gives people the best chance to overcome the impacts of lifestyle, environment and time.”

InnovaDerma’s marketing model bucked the more traditional, high-spend, high profile glossy promotions used by multinational beauty brands.

But it has struck just the right note with its customers, keen for affordable self-improvement, says Chaudhry who has seen a big take-up for Roots among women aged 35 to 60.
Skinny Tan’s growth helped the group to double its revenue for the year ending 30 June to more than £8.8m and triple pre-tax profits to just over £1million.

Last month the group raised a further £4.4 million from a share issue.

“We have had a fantastic run and innovation will continue,” says Chaudhry, “now our focus is on growing our multiple brands.”

The new buoy design is interesting. It kind of says to me that the board are planning for the long game.

nice to see Edison giving mention to ship routes for AM I did buy a small amount yesterday , It was my intention to keep adding over the next few months , we are on track presently making progress with AM, if we keep this pace up through March company will be looking forward to addressing shareholders in June .As extrader says HUR could certainly be highlighted somewhere in shares to buy for 2018. With increased volumes over the last 4 weeks it all helps for future sp, the % number of days is reducing for anyone holding a short naked short position, last months stats said 444days that's fallen to 222 days all statistics but going in positive direction, weather is going to be important factor I have been using this site
has a few features waves etc and gets locality webcams. whatever I reckon that shipwatchers reports did last year create some enthusiasm for shareholders, coming from the ops side of things

Some mighty assumptions in there! Ultra conservative for sure. Some brokers hate to come up with values miles in excess of the current share price. They can always adjust their figures upwards!

To me Malcys Blog ,podcast yesterday spoke volumes, my won view is that by 2019 HUR will have sold some of its assets or lock stock and barrel.

my concern is that by by 2018/9 ISA that we may not be at these levels ,glass very much half full ,perhaps we will never hold the mantle of Uk Smallest of the Big producers

Hi all,

If FOIL is indeed possible/likely in 2018, I'd imagine the New Year tipsters might have HUR on their shortlist of recommendations.

I have long thought that first oil could be late autumn 2018. It appears that the company is no longer downplaying the possibility, presumably because everything is on schedule so far. Mind you, any small slippage will push the process back to the official date of spring 2019 because it's not a good idea to try to get it going West of Shetland in winter!

I suspect the share price will be upwardly mobile if people are starting to give credence to the view that we're only 9-10 months away from production. I'm sure that many institutional supporters have been holding off thinking there's plenty of time to load up.

Hope so anyway!

Malcy is paying for his breakfast last week. Fair summary piece on the visit and cpr with a message that better times are coming, in a year or so’s time!

Very disappointing it couldn’t hold 30p last week on the cpr which might suggest that there are not that many interested players in the market? Or that their corporate credibility is very poor?

Either way a few more months of quiet times.

how much you down on this _ary ?

what a sound investmemt when it can halve in price in a blink of an eye
Not something a seasoned investor would want to be involved in eh moron.

Sounds like a pure punt to me - something ironically you accuse others of.

So, keep punting and gambling twit. Any AIM oil share is a gamble and a pure punt so if anyone here is the small time gambler (and rotten at it too) its you sunshine

enjoy that home truth.
