15/12/2017 14:17 | ltinvestor...Stifel are the biggest reason why the share price is so low..why don’t they convince their high net worth mates to pick up the slack now & take out the seller?? Best printing that note off and use it as bog paper!! | 0rient
15/12/2017 13:05 | Crux Being that “Its not what You Buy But When “, there’s a mini Revolution going out there with the fashionista that’s based on Bitcoin Ledger Technology and the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology, past few days has been hectic . Timing is everything and a quick sharp Full exit or free shares a must . Doubt a new Appointment will cause many ripples unless it’s a big name ( please Tom Cross , ) if a big name then it may be indicative of what we think and hope may happen . Lse has a Competition re FOIL , my own guesstimate was for earlier on this week but 2018, anyone to do with FPSO , SURF etc know any idea of costs , head times to connect up riser , Bouy etc . Hoping for a mild Autumn and Winter next year WOS . Brilliant time over next X Months to Accumulate and if prudent could end up with a Lions Share Of free Shares | gibso6767
15/12/2017 12:52 | Never mind Stifel, as another opportunity beckons, who will call the next bottom ? 24p again ? | jimarilo
15/12/2017 12:28 | Short term punters being forced out yet again I feel............ How good does one think Stifel are in research as I have seen these NAV valuations before and have a dealing rule...........do the sums on the basis of giving away equity etc to get to a real NAV which will be substantially lower. Can you see how canny the USA fund was and it to (I bet) will have done its sums along those lines. In the meantime we can watch the share price bob up and down.......... | anley
15/12/2017 12:01 | Thanksamillion.Lol ! | ltinvestor
15/12/2017 11:04 | Glad that I bought into OPHR today again. This has alot further to go imo. | badger60
15/12/2017 10:22 | Hence the sub 30 share price ... | thanksamillion
15/12/2017 08:01 | Gs.It was sent to me in confidence. It is a 13 page document and I assure you it is all good news!!Perhaps you can contact Stifel? LT | ltinvestor
15/12/2017 07:39 | Can you link to the Stifel note, LT?Presumably the nav you quote is unrisked?Peter | greyingsurfer
15/12/2017 07:27 | You guys should really be reading Stifels post visit to Dubai note where they are saying that there is a reasonable chance of first oil being produced in 2018 and now ascribe a £5.80 nav.LT | ltinvestor
15/12/2017 06:10 | Yep.....I think that 24p is a distinct possibility going forward, and happy to buy back in when it gets there. Currently building up a position in OPHR, currently producing 12k bbd, has a healthy net cash and finance headroom position, and just waiting for news of financing for their compelling LNG Fortuna project which is due imminently. They have also recently acquired a share in a Mexico shallow offshore field, which is next door to the PMO Zama field with estimated reserves of up to 2bn bbo. | badger60
14/12/2017 15:34 | looks like the market is ignoring that rating eh gary | rackers1
14/12/2017 15:15 | Yes, bound to be on Malcy's list for the New Year so will get a boost from that. Good trading opportunity - but I think 24p seems to be the bottom price so can see this going back to there in the months following. The next news I can see is the two well completions that are scheduled for Q2/Q3. If they flow as expected then I reckon that is when the share price will start to wake up as it will be 6 months to FOIL. That means there is about 6 months of, well, not a lot. | shabbadabbadoo2
14/12/2017 15:06 | Hurricane Energy (LON:HUR) had its price objective raised by equities researchers at Royal Bank of Canada from GBX 60 ($0.81) to GBX 70 ($0.94) in a research report issued on Tuesday. The firm currently has an "outperform" rating on the stock. Royal Bank of Canada's price objective would indicate a potential upside of 137.29% from the company's previous close.Separately, FinnCap reaffirmed a "buy" rating and set a GBX 80 ($1.08) target price on shares of Hurricane Energy in a report on monday. 14/12/2017 15:05 | Thanks Peter, I was primarily opposing the notion the share price will languish at best until first oil, and that there is currently value here should anyone with a deep pockets and willing to take a risk mount a TO, more so now with the new cpr. | fireplace22
14/12/2017 14:55 | FPI read your 85% as applying to everything. Yes EPS success will help, though what matters is not initial rate - we already have a good idea of that as both wells have been flow tested. It's how the flow holds up that matters. And while success at the EPS must help with the cos for the rest of the fields, the big issue is that it's an FB reservoir, and so likely not homogeneous. Halifax has not flowed yet, and large parts of both fields are undrilled. Success of the EPS should lead to a rerating and more interest, but I think HUR will be out, or possibly a small minority interest, long before the vast majority of the GLA/GWA fields are proven up. 14/12/2017 14:51 | ..and new year share tips. | fireplace22
14/12/2017 14:48 | ..and new Chairman.... and Premium listing news | twixy
14/12/2017 14:16 | ..except the possibility of a speculative bid. | fireplace22
14/12/2017 14:14 | I think we could see 24p/25p if oil continues to decline.......Things slowing up in general pre Xmas, and certainly no more substantive news imminently expected here. | badger60
14/12/2017 14:03 | If you are likely to get 80p, £1 or maybe more per share within 18 months, why worry about the share going up or down 1p today. 30p (or thereabouts) in my mind is fantastic value to buy into this valuable asset. My shares were bought at a slightly higher level, but as an investment and I have every confidence that I will double my money within the above timelines. I expect to invest another £20k worth into next years ISA if they are still below 50p. Of course, if you are trading the shares you will obviously be a little more impatient... | robbiekeane
14/12/2017 12:35 | Peter, if Lancaster flows then what is the COS of the other analogous fields flowing? Are you saying that if the eps is successful the value of the other fields isn't significantly enhanced? btw the CoS of 85% I referred to was for the Lancaster EPS. | fireplace22
14/12/2017 11:40 | Agreed Peter, some here trying to run before they can walk | jimarilo
14/12/2017 11:37 | Role on 1st Jan. 2018 - hopefully the psychology of the year of FOIL will encourage a novel trend - a share price that goes up. | twixy |
