To be clear, Itinvestor, I am not suggesting there is anything "untoward", other than the fact that it seems certain they are not being very prompt in reporting the result of testing. In the event that the result proves to be price-sensitive (as all holders will hope, at least in one direction!) this delay looks to be wrong.

It may be that the price rise on Thursday was as a result of well-informed buying, as HUR would appear to have concluded actual operations on around Wednesday (judging from the rig move). But, if so, that shouldn't be happening because the company is obliged to release material news promptly. On the other hand, it may just be that the rise on Thursday was the product of "someone must know something" self-feeding speculation. Holders will soon find out which. Obviously some of those who dealt on Thursday or Friday are likely to feel aggrieved either way.

I offer no view on the well outcome, save for pointing out that a material positive or negative outcome should already have been released - and therefore guessing it is a curate's egg. Had they provided a progress report after the DST and merely left the market waiting for exact details of the OWC news, I would have been more forgiving of a delay on the full details.

Emptyend.I actually joined Advfn a few months before you in Jan 2000.I respect your comments but in this instance you will find out that you are wrong.Just because the drill has finished and we haven't had an announcement doesn't mean that anything is untoward.It just means that other issues are being attended to relating to the drill results and I am expecting some very positive news this coming week
