25/3/2017 10:25 | fp22, Your post is illogical. How could or why would anyone comment on the implications of Hurricane not having reported the well completion and the rig move, before either event happened and it became a topic of discussion? | wessexmario
25/3/2017 10:25 | old news but it may brighten up the day for some stay positive google : hurricane-energy-say Hurricane prioritised the evaluation and CPR for Lancaster, as the pivotal document will help form the basis of field development planning for the fast-track EPS project. Trice anticipates a subsequently independent assessment of the whole area will follow. | laserdisc
25/3/2017 10:05 | I must admit the idea of reporting the company to the fca because they didn't fit in with bb expectations is just daft. | fatnacker
25/3/2017 10:04 | I was busy chairing an audit committee. Goodbye. | emptyend
25/3/2017 10:03 | If anything does leak after Fridays close it's hardly material if we get an RNS on Monday. So the time involved (to keep the lid on) from the rig moving to an RNS (assuming one monday) was only 24 hours. Gives them more time to ponder the RNS with little risk of a harmful leak. | fireplace22
25/3/2017 10:01 | Morning Emptyhead - So in conclusion, you turned up here yesterday (2:30pm) to warn (your friends) of the possibilities that the Halifax result may not be what holders would fully like to hear. You cut it a little fine did you not, what was wrong with Monday or Wednesday? BH | bloodhound
25/3/2017 10:00 | I would always take note of what emptyend has to say. My beef, if I had one, would be with the barrack room lawyers who have found their voice and, perhaps unlike ee, are fully appraised of what the company is about and who now offer their expert advice on corporate governance and opine on reporting the board for perceived shortcomings etc. Come on, the board have not put a foot wrong in the last nine-months, give them a break and let them get on with what they need to do in their own time. We are in no position to judge what is timely and what is not timely. | jacks13
25/3/2017 09:43 | The bank collapse was the hot topic long before it happened, I predicted wagon wheels and cream eggs would get smaller eventually leading to fewer cavities and I was right does that make me a fully qualified dentist? | fatnacker
25/3/2017 09:42 | Hiddendepths Hi. I'm sure that I won't be the only one on this bb not to fully understand. Could you please explain the significance of the "closing auction activity" on Friday. Another poster made a similar observation I recal. Thanks. For the record I sold all my IQE on Wednesday to buy in HUR and they went up 15% since Sob sob boo hoo :-( | rutter
25/3/2017 09:30 | I can say without any doubt whatsoever that when Emptyend posts something, he truly believes what he is saying, and has no ulterior motives. I and others have disagreed with him in the past, but I've never discerned from any of those posters that they ever doubted the sincerity of his opinions. I can also corroborate his comments on the banks well in advance of the collapse, and I know for a fact that it saved a colleague a pretty hefty capital sum when I drew his attention to EEs comments, which he repeated quite a number of times. 25/3/2017 08:50 | Does anyone think that the Brexit Article 50 announcement expected this week and Nicola Sturgeon's IndyRef#2 waves may have affected the timing of the Halifax RNS? I think not, but I am left wondering. Anyway, we're all locked in now till 8am Monday.... | cinques
25/3/2017 07:44 | Lots of activity going on behind a very closed door.Emptyend is way off the mark!LT | ltinvestor
25/3/2017 07:09 | I'll take that as a no then. | fatnacker
25/3/2017 07:05 | so you cant accept information can be "kept tight"? | fatnacker
25/3/2017 07:02 | ?.....you can do whatever you wish...... | emptyend
25/3/2017 07:01 | " I'm just pointing out that if they had a stellar result, I would certainly have expected it to be released before the rig moved off. And also, if it was a duster, I'd have expected news to be slipped out yesterday at latest. given that it is unlikely information from a closely-watched well can be kept perfectly tight. " well clearly it is being kept tight so we can discount most of what you've said. | fatnacker
25/3/2017 00:05 | I have a large stake in HUR, but always good to hear what you don't want to hear sometimes. I remember emptyend from years back on TMF and is worth listening to, from his own comments he would not be surprised if Halifax was a complete success, but merely pointing out what is a possibility and one you are more likely to see if not invested. | quemaster
24/3/2017 23:49 | Previous guidance as to when results would be available is not relevant. The point is that the rig has moved and, irrespective of whether we know that, the company is in posession of price sensitive information which it is obliged to release asap, unless it has an appropriate justification. To suggest that HUR has been caught out by modern technology is extremely unlikely and irrelevant. | kinkell
24/3/2017 23:48 | Control, material news is meant, according to listing rules, to be released "without delay". My guess is that we'll see coverage in one of the weekend STs of the result, with maybe news on funding & possibly news/timing of the Lancaster CPR, followed by RNS(es) first thing Monday. | thegreatgeraldo
24/3/2017 23:42 | TGG, that was my point... | control1 |
