Is it just me or has the trading volume dropped off today?

Just put a bit of spare cash to good use. Better here than in a bank account.

Thank you Extrader, you are correct, my earlier post was a parody of the mendacious tweet of earlier this week.
For the benefit of all offended posters who may feel in need of emotional clues I hereby insert a suitable emoticon:

"The Bloodhound : SouthWestern approaches ? That's off Cornwall, innit ? Rather a long way from WoS, no ?"

100% Extrader - I heard Dr T talk of unexplored areas of interest South West Shetland, put two and two together and due to a arithmetic error ended up 500 miles of course, sorry.

Hi The Guardian,

I think you'll find that jack 13's post was just a pastiche of Doc Holliday's disruptive article.

The Bloodhound : SouthWestern approaches ? That's off Cornwall, innit ? Rather a long way from WoS, no ?

The appointment of Stifel is interesting....and much closer to home : they were joint bookrunner and nomad for Faeroe's £62 M placing last July. So should be up to speed with what's going on in our 'hood'....

Hi laserdisc,

.....no doubt some one will ask what options , what about splitting this co into production and exploration ?,...

FWLIW, I'd always assumed this was the plan....

HUR and HURSON, maybe ? The latter may need some reworking, though !

substantial volumes of oil, assets are now being proven up, no debt, management good, lots of options to create shareholder value from here, no doubt some one will ask what options , what about splitting this co into production and exploration ?,

LT l am still learning after 12 years of investing in stocks and shares and as you know AIM market is not for the faint hearted.l invest not only in stocks and shares and through my career one thing l have learn is that calling others names is a kind of bullying and there is nothing to be learn from those that call others names.

I do not believe that the share price is being manipulated. It is in a tight trading range awaiting drilling results.More importantly why would a new broker come on board now if the Halifax results were likely to be negative.I am certain that they are up to speed with progress being made and are happy with the situation. As they are likely to be making a market in the stock they are probably picking up stock for their book at this level knowing that future good news would take the share price much higher.
Gary,I am not sure how experienced an investor you are but there is always something to be learned from others so my advice is do not filter others as you may be missing out ....LT

it also seemed to take its time at the 38-42p area too.... but news sorted that. cheers

I'm aware of that. I was only making the observation that it seems to have maintained that sort of share price since the 6th Feb and could see no reason why. I only put the question to see if others could shed light on the reason for this. However, I am most certainly focussed on it going higher.

its an uptrend farmscan... higher highs, higher lows, above support/trend line, all ebbing and flowing with news spread out periodically, with two placings done too..... more news expected...... so why get so focussed on this magic 53p number? weird... what you want to concentrate on is getting a higher high than 58p which is the current intraday day ATH.... and halifax, and a deal with a major, and warwick.... not 53p.

Unless they have been buying all the shares sold by CA. If Blackrock have been buying only when they go over 3% will we know or if not Blackrock some other big investor.

In that case what would be the reason for the share price being kept at 53p? One might expect some upward pressure by now?

Just wondering as Blackrock is one of SN top shareholders will they increase their holding in Hurricane Energy.
