i dont think there'd be any sort of palcing or anything pre halifax results, because and deals on the table or being discussed by majors with hur will be subject to halifax as its important in that it possibly alters the game ie lancatser to halifax being one field....

remember: if $400 is need for the EPS at lancaster, then hur wont do that all on its own as there'l be a farm in/out partner... i suspect hur would give up ~30pc for 80pc of costs $400m... and hur use bonds/debt for their share, but this way, eps goes ahead, hardly any debt, and income all round due course..... but of course, they may then sell lancatser/halifax...

but certainly imo no placing is afoot pre halifax.. and the cfo has already said FID wont be til end of H1 this year...

the broker change though, does suggest theyre positioning themselves for some kijd of deal.....

all good...

An unemployed scouser reports: 'The company had a misfire at the start of the recent (Halifax) campaign which has since followed the general theme of things with hiccups along the way! this is not unique in the Oil & Gas game, therefore, we await an operational conclusion. Yet reports suggest that of late this week commissioner Trice’s bright red phone (is alleged) to have called summoning the doctor to the city as the finance officer had run into difficulties, the chatter among certain circles is Hurricane had hit a funding storm and it was for Dr. Trice to find a resolution. I find this story extremely intriguing as in the city of London PIs are buyers of the story whilst over thirty miles away the funding team and company hot shots are (alleged) to be trying to resolve a serious funding breakdown, I have no doubt that there is a huge cash deposit west of Cheapside and I also have no doubt that Dr. Trice and his team have conducted all business with a straight bat, however, I find the intelligence coming back from the operation to massively conflict with that of city goliaths hitting the stock in the open market with heavy hands.'

Yes, that is a tricky one. I wouldn't want to think that in advance of an RNS to the market, any good news arising from the current drill is used to get the next stage funding committed at the usual knock-down price. ...or perhaps I'm just being naive?

Yes, how would that work then with an open offer, when news is due towards the end of Q1?

The share price appears to be pegged at 53p since 6th Feb, would this suggest another placing is imminent?

It gave me a shock when it, the rns, came up in my emails. Ah ah, bit early for a find, it's bad news...then I started to breath,😱
They are after more advice on what?? Now you can use the next few days/weeks, coming up with all kind of good and bad theories?

Yup `sounds` like it. Lets hope its not just more `noise`, and a corporate deal is actually done. I`ll be pleased when a farm-in is announced. But seen it all before frankly..

So a JV broker is appointed and the board members have been in the Us on business. Should we be happy?

Sounds like they're gearing up for the major development and expansion that we all anticipate! While this is not a blockbusting RNS, it's very, very good news and another little piece in the jigsaw.

OK, I'm gonna say it....wait for it...'I wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend' - or at any time looking ahead!

Let the good times roll!
