Yes several times with Q's he's asked Dr T and occasionally with his blog posts.

I'd much rather have him 'on board' as it were than not, each to his own I guess.

Bloodhound, I was referring more to his articles. Sure, enabling us to listen to Trice is no bad thing, although most of that is rehashed news.

Malcy is knowledgable, but he is far from an independent observer in many instances.

Do you think, for example, that he paid his own fare to go on the Sound Energy trip?

Nothing wrong with being employed by someone of course, but it makes him less than totally independent in his views.

Tell me, has Malcy's comments ever enhanced your understanding of HUR, and if so, what did he say?

I was surprised at the share price response today .. expected it to get to 54/55p in the back of the roller coaster of good. Red, maybe takes a few days Interest and we benefit from malcys PR in this instance!

Trouble is Malcy is a bit of a ramper- his track record is fairly awful- he needs one to do well and not end up in D4E or bust.

Don't agree with that Buffy. Malcy has done some interesting interviews with Dr T and is supportive of the company and helps get the message out there.

Hurricane Energy

Hurricane announced this morning that it has spudded the 205/23-A well (Halifax well) which will drill below local structural closure and then perform an open hole DST and subject to results, possibly deepen to investigate the oil water contact. The reason for all this is that the adjacent Lancaster Field possibly extends its boundary into the recently awarded P2308 licence which is contiguous to and extends North Easterly, from that discovery, indeed is is possible that it extends up to the Rona Ridge. This will be the concluding well of this drilling programme and as such, by the time this well result is announced towards the end of Q1 of this year, have made the most significant oil find in British waters for many years.

If that goal is achieved, Hurricane would then look to deepen the well to establish where the oil-water contact is.

“If we are able to demonstrate it’s a similar contact to that at Lancaster then that goes some way to arguing that there’s a single accumulation between Halifax and Lancaster, which would of course be an enormous field of some 30 kilometres in length..."

The ones who are selling probably to trade elsewhere i think may be bitterly disappointed, maybe not in 2 weeks but 3-4 weeks there may be some surprises, the good doctor is no fool and as they are talking to some big players now and we know what we have i think he will be doing some great deals. watch this space
