Robfitz, no problem with looking for a bargain, I try to do the same. Trouble is that if this did fall to 40p it would likely be because of some bad news or a setback. Then the proposition might look less attractive or too risky!

FSA yes it's only up 190 pct in 6 months as to over 200 pct from last week. You stick to your penny you scalp here and there and we will stick to the well rewarded patient long term game

Gary, for me a trader is someone who doesn't give a monkeys about the actual stock or the story but just trades the technicals, takes their profit and moves on to the next one without so much as a look over the shoulder or a second thought about the company.

I AM invested in the HUR story and am here for the end game but increase my holding in a different way to you i.e. I don't spend more money on buying the dips which, given the inevitable weather delay, was entirely predictable yesterday so I took advantage.

I was out for half a day so if you want to call that trading that is your prerogative but doing it my way increased my holding by roughly 2.5% for nothing.

but wot peeps dont know is that kerogan and ca might give more cash for more equity which be better for them than for farm out deal

but pi slowly gettin company taken away from them

Just started following this share/thread.

I would like to see it retrace back to the support level of 40p just so I could get in. Although if it drops back to 45p I might be tempted, it did drop back to 25p(ish) after the rise from 20 to 30p so a similar drop after rising from 30p to 40p would be nice (for me!!)

Don't wish any holders losses but I am being selfish and want to buy!!!

Are you saying that you do trade (either buying the dips or in each direction) OR that you just Buy & Hold as you like the story?

Control l don't suffer being in that position anymore.I DMOR check the chart for entry and buy on the story .In this case this is a great story which has a great future for Hurricane Energy ,UK and for investors.I am not talking about adding to positions known in part as BUY THE DIPS (utube). l am talking about buying in and out plus shorting i.e TRADING.

I wouldn't grumble with an out right Strathmore sale either.

What I meant was a large farm down for free carry to development if PMO were to fast track it - something like 10-15% cash flow from Strathmore for doing sweet FA to develop it ;-)

KandymanNext good news will push this first to 60/65p then next news to 70/85p and that 52p buy price will look cheap and a great buy.

If we hit oil a JV with Premier for early cash flow might suit both parties very well.

Premier's CAPEX is sunk in the ground so anything that can move the IRR dial is going to look like a gift from heaven. Against that background a good deal could be had?

Strathmore is a sandstone reservoir, it's a non-core asset. Its a small field similar to its extension Solan.Anyone following PMO will have noticed Solan is significantly underperforming due to poor reservior performance. PMO have just issued a revised production guidance for Solan. It's now expected to do 10-13kbopd instead of 25kbopd or originally planned for. It is quite likely PMO will not even recoup the billion + capex for Solan.If Strathmore is similar reservoir to Solan, get shot of it whilst it's still worth a song.Cash
