30/11/2016 09:59 | IF any driller or pusher took advice of a drilling nature ,or rig mechanical nature they are inept and weak ,Dr Trice will be there for his speciality which is rocks, oil ,pressure volumes etc. pretty certain his visits to the mud lab and shakers will be constant as would be rig fllor for rop etc ,orque drag ,returns etc very much hands on ,instant real time decision making | gibso6767
30/11/2016 09:46 | HH, I take the view that Dr T is not a drilling expert; he can only tell them where to drill and then examine what it brings up. In any event I believe the Lincoln results will be known to the Dr within the next few days. I hope he keeps us informed with an RNS. | chessman2
30/11/2016 09:42 | If Dr T is on the rig due to a drilling issue it will be most likely because of what rock or whatever they have hit/found. And not due to a technical/mechanical issue (there will be others more qualified for that). IMO | pounddreamer
30/11/2016 09:35 | It is rare that i disagree with you Chessman but on the case of Dr T being on the rig, this may also be a pointer to a drilling issue as much as being a positive. | hopeful holder
30/11/2016 09:28 | Dr T would not have visited the rig unless they were close to seeing what was there. Also the rig is due to move to Halifax in approx 14 days time. I'm suspect there was or is a two day hold up but that has been factored into the timetable. Without doubt HUR is looking good; we already know there is oil at Lincoln, just a question of confirming it is part of Lancaster. Then onto Halifax to confirm the same which would mean a massive field and bring tears of joy & pleasure to the chancellor's eyes. Looks like HUR might be saving the UK!! | chessman2
30/11/2016 09:21 | For those investors looking to invest in the oil industry on the AIM market there is no other company that can come near the return that Hurricane energy can offer leading up to first production and beyond. | gary38

30/11/2016 09:14 | Hurricane intends to use the Aoka Mizu for the Early Production System ("EPS") phase of development and will have the right to extend the contract for up to ten years. Under the Heads of Terms, BES has granted Hurricane an exclusive right to enter into fully-termed agreements until November 2017. It is the parties' intention to enter into fully-termed agreements prior to Hurricane's expected sanction date in mid-2017. | gary38

30/11/2016 08:47 | Gary,Yes Dr T has constantly spoken of milestones being met and how they are achieving for shareholders and for UK oil industry. Notably, the last RNS mentions value for shareholders and the UK.Cash | cashandcard
30/11/2016 08:47 | i see enq, tullow, pmo, bp all took a slight beating y/day too..... hur is just a higher beta thus higher volatility.... | leeson31
30/11/2016 08:38 | Hyper Al There is oil in Lincoln: how much is about to be determined. This is where Robert Trices expertise is required and be rest assured he will be directing operations.... | ltinvestor
30/11/2016 08:21 | As our current drilling campaign continues to assess the full regional potential of our acreage, this Agreement is another important milestone in our efforts to move Lancaster towards production, creating value for our shareholders and for the UK."Moving closer.Drip Drip Drip and the bucket fills up as my mum use to say. | gary38
30/11/2016 08:12 | You only have to listen to Stobie on Vox yesterday when he was talking in terms of an upgrade from 150mn to 250mn barrels at Lincoln........ | ltinvestor
30/11/2016 08:04 | Well unlike Lancaster, I can find no official RNS guidance so perhaps some clarity from the top would be a good idea bearing in mind the uncertainty at present and that 30-45 days was quoted on here more than once... It would seem odd that the boss would visit the rig halfway through a drill and when there was nothing to report... | control1
30/11/2016 07:54 | Fear and Greed Hyper Al, you've been around long enough to know that. There's been a lot of chicken little posting over on LSE, that's the problem when people are assigned 'guru' status on BBs. The last vertical drill took around 2 months on Lancaster yet inexplicably some thought Lincoln was going to be completed in a mere 20 days, the mind boggles. I feel the GLA is massive, my money is on that and I'll wait for the company to either confirm or dismiss this, not some faceless avatar on a BB. It's interesting to note that not one of the gurus predicted atleast 620m of oil, huge flow rates or the world class PI, no they only know when there's an issue. At worst Lancaster is going to come in around 300-500 million barrels, I think people have lost sight of quite how big this find already is. IMHO DYOR and all the usual caveats. | prefab
30/11/2016 07:51 | look at massive out of hours trades,if there are slight issues with current well ,its timed and priced in ,if we where a one hit wonder just producing on this one well with debt id be worried ,but we aren't. im dumfounded by the belief by some of when they where informed or told it would be completed. half the advent calendar chocolates will be eaten/opened before we get news. | gibso6767
30/11/2016 07:47 | I think we may have a leaky ship(s). | the guardian |
