GaryYou have made bold statements in the past about the technical position of HUR shareprice which could mislead other potential investors.Had any investors taken your charts as facts and invested a few months ago they would still be losing money. That is why I have "picked" on you. I posted facts about the technical position of HUR.You thought I was being negative.No. That wasn't the case. I was demonstrating if you use charts then you have to accept they will show positive and negative otherwise why bother using them, and certainly don't change indicators to justify a viewpoint ie you changed the parameters of your charts to justify your bullish viewpoint.

GaryI couldn't give a toss what your average is.If you cared to read what I actually posted then you will realise that had you been any good at technical analysis you would have been selling HUR higher up rather than buying. The fact of the matter is you were investing in a company which was in a definite downtrend but refused to accept this at the time because of your complete lack of charting skills. The shares halved in value yet you still maintained they were in an uptrend.

Just down the road from Whirlwind and Lancaster.

BP Plc and ConocoPhillips are in discussions for an asset swap deal that would see the U.K. energy major gain a greater foothold in a key project in the North Sea and the U.S. explorer get Alaskan assets, according to people familiar with the talks.
BP is considering taking Conoco’s 24 percent interest in the Clair field, in which BP already holds a 28.6 percent stake and is the operator, the people said, asking not to be identified because the talks are private. In exchange, Conoco is likely to take some of BP’s assets in Alaska. BP describes Clair as “the largest undeveloped hydrocarbon resource” in the U.K. continental shelf.
The world’s biggest oil companies, including BP, have largely been selling their aging North Sea assets as they move funds to areas where it’s cheaper to produce oil and natural gas. Still, the region has seen a revival in recent years as new entrants infuse additional capital and fresh technology. BP itself has said it will focus on a few projects as it targets higher output.

That link doesn't say much for CityWire's journalism, dcarn!

HUR appointed a new chair nearly a month ago. I'd guess they cut and pasted a bit from a much earlier statement by CA.

This is looking very strong. HUR's not put a foot wrong yet.

And a noticeable increase in trading volumes since early April 2018

Excellent

Im unaware of HUR running into problems, no issue with funding and EPS delivery is on target.

However, the trust said it was still working with Hurricane Energy (HUR) to appoint a ‘credible chairman’ following problems with the oil explorer that operates in the seas west of the Shetland Isles. Crystal Amber saw a slump in its share price after Hurricane, its largest holding, ran into problems.

Hurricane’s share price nearly halved within two months on the back of what the trust said at the time was ‘poor handling’ of a warrant issue and comments by the oil explorer’s management team about funding and delivering an ‘early production system’.

Oh Gosh Bloodhound.

Excellent translation from binary to denary, however I normally work at a much lower numerical level between 0 and 1, occasionally a rush of blood to the head means I opt for 0 to 100 (with a % afterwards).

Any thoughts on that one? :-)

"Hurricane is almost a binary play"

I don't see HUR as a binary play oil/no oil at all but if I did I say:

1 Lots and lots more oil than expected.
1 Lots more oil than expected.
1 Slighly more oil than expected.
1 As much oil as was expected.
0 Slightly less oil than expected
0 A bit less than slightly less oil than expected.
0 Quite a bit less than expected.
0 None.

That's 11110000 = 240 = A lot/Or not!

I do like it when shares rise on highish volume. It means that the sellers are being cleared and replaced by those who are bullish at this price. That's often a sign of further gains ahead.
