16/5/2018 08:21 | 0rient, risk/reward is much better now than it was a year ago - oil price is massively up and there is mounting tension in the Middle East (nothing new there) - a massive untapped oilfield in UK waters is one of the safest bets you can put your money in at the moment; I am well aware of the risks associated with the type of reservoir we have and happy to take the risk at these levels. Best of luck to all holders. | jinxo777
16/5/2018 08:20 | All going to plan with all the boxes ticked from management to operations with an added bonus with Brent crude oil near $80 . | gary38

16/5/2018 08:06 | Orient.When did you last speak with RB? | ltinvestor
16/5/2018 08:05 | Trader RB of CA selling reduced his holding from 7.18% to 6.9% as l thought. Waiting for news of the big investor/investors who has been buying those shares . | gary38
16/5/2018 08:03 | Hahaha..you guys kidding yourselves regarding CA and your balancing the portfolio theory. Risk/reward at this current market cap not as attractive, a whole load of investors who took part in the fund raising @32p are potential sellers now...CA taking some risk of the table now not rebalancing their books! Keep it real | 0rient
16/5/2018 07:59 | Good news Well done Hurricane Energy team.Dr Robert Trice, Chief Executive, commented:"I'm delighted to see the start of the installation phase of the project with activity beginning to take place offshore. All workstreams are proceeding well; we remain on budget and on schedule for first oil in H1 2019." | gary38
16/5/2018 07:59 | At end April, HUR made up £62m of their £223m asset value - around 28%. The recent rise in HUR will have pushed that up considerably before the recent sales. I suspect they're trying to limit their holding to 30% of their assets, or maybe 25%. I have no problem with that! | hiddendepths
16/5/2018 07:55 | Do CA want out ? | chutes01
16/5/2018 07:54 | CA have to sell for two reasons 1) they need the cash as some of their investments are not performing and 2) the structure of the fund. However I believe that RB is very reluctant to sell the entire holding and will hang on to as much stock as he can in the hope of a bid for Hur.I will speak with him at the AGM in June and try to confirm my thoughts...His disposals are being carried out in an orderly manner as it is not in his interest to destroy the share price | ltinvestor
16/5/2018 07:54 | "Small progressive rises are not good for them as they need to keep selling" Yes but good for us the PI- and with Crystal Amber providing a ready supply of stock means I've been able to average up on a number of occasions. | lfdkmp
16/5/2018 07:53 | good news, also the ahv vessels left Montrose this morning on their way to the rig, its a fleet of 4 vessels Siem Ruby, Njord Viking, Magne Viking and Atlantic Merlin all going to Shaw field to lift achors on paul bj rig etc | laserdisc
16/5/2018 07:50 | Steve73, CA have no choice but reduce when the share price goes up - they need to have a balanced portfolio and cannot have a specific share being more than a set % of the portfolio - they have been selling in a rise and will continue to do so. Small progressive rises are not good for them as they need to keep selling; they'd prefer big jumps due to major news (e.g. a farm-in) so they can sell at much higher prices; that is why they were not happy when a farm-in did not happen last year and massive funding was required. They supported Hurricane in the dark days so we shouldn't complain about them. GLA | jinxo777
16/5/2018 07:49 | Yes, CA have sold a further 5.5m shares. Probably still portfolio balancing. For the uninitiated, that means that as the share price rises, the HUR investment makes up a larger proportion of the investment portfolio. So they sell some to keep that percentage as was. | hiddendepths
16/5/2018 07:43 | Good update, but strange to see CA still reducing - now <7%. | steve73
16/5/2018 07:34 | happy with that update Dr Robert Trice, Chief Executive, commented: "I'm delighted to see the start of the installation phase of the project with activity beginning to take place offshore. All workstreams are proceeding well; we remain on budget and on schedule for first oil in H1 2019." | bountyhunter

15/5/2018 22:15 | I keep coming back to $1 per barrel 2C and $5 per barrel 2P. There are roughly the same number of shares as barrels 2C so the share price will be on the road from $1 to $5 quite soon. What's the exchange rate again? | chopsy
