GaryYou have been invested in HUR a long time and bought when the shareprice was much higher than the current shareprice.Had you been any good as a chartist you would have sold and invested elsewhere and reinvested here when the uptrend began again.Simple really.

Why would anyone use share trades as signals of intent. This isn't a game of bridge: better to send a text, pick up the phone or even meet in the pub if you want to pass such a message

GaryI don't and never will smoke.Just as you will never be a successful chartist. Its all very well cut and pasting about Brian Marber, (& there are other equally prominent chartists out there) but unless you actually put into practice what they tell you why bother? You have proven umpteen times you can't read a chart.

thanks to David Kempton at Citywire whose other 3 picks were DGOC , OPHR , AMER .

" Hurricane is almost a binary play. Oil analysts consider that their North Sea licences could show them sitting on a quarter of total UK continental shelf resources. Clearly that’s massive, but how much is economically recoverable is currently unknown. This is a classic exploration company, where the value could shoot up next year when the Lancaster basin is properly evaluated, or not. All the well tests have been successful to date and they are well funded with £70 million of cash, so I’m watching for news flow and may buy more as the project develops "

With the strong current PoO, I wonder how much it increases the chances of a bid before FOIL from a major....?

nail on head there kirt

as an investor or at least a successful investor, we should be far more aware of the negatives before the positives in an investment.

this muppet gary just closes his eyes and shuts his ears to anything he doesnt like. what a true muppet this twit is.

as it is HUR currently looks good. It seems to have ridden the storm of last year well so far.

Brian MarberBrian Marber can make a fair claim to be the most widely experienced technical analyst in the world, having been one since 1963.A Fellow of the Society of Technical Analysts, he has been a blue button (stockbroker's clerk), stock market dealer, member of two UK stock exchanges, and managing partner of the London office of one of the largest regional 'broking houses. At IOS and then at NM Rothschild & Sons, totally eschewing the fundamental approach, he was the first fund manager in the UK to manage large funds using only technical analysis.Between 1976 and 1981, as a stockbroker, Brian Marber was voted by institutional investors No.1 technical analyst in the City for six successive years, a unique record. When he started managing FX accounts in the 1990s, he was given exemption from the SFA Exams because of his 'long and distinguished career in the investment industry.'In 1980, in a survey conducted by the Treasurer of the Singer Company, Brian Marber had the best FX forecasting record in the world. For 15 years he wrote monthly for Euromoney Currency Report, more recently for the Financial Times. In the 1980s Brian Marber was a Member of the Visiting Faculty of IMI (Geneva), the oldest-established business school in Europe. In 1981 he founded a company which, with clients in 20 countries, became the world's largest independent FX consultancy. As lecturer and teacher, Brian Marber has spoken at six Financial Times World Gold conferences, three Australian Gold Conferences, Johannesburg 100, Comex, and the Washington Gold & Silver Institute, and has also conducted seminars and teach-ins in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, South Africa, Israel, Italy, UK, Eire, France, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland and Luxembourg.A one-time member of the Investment Panel of The Observer and regular broadcaster on TV and radio, Brian Marber is still an FX Consultant to banks, large corporations, hedge fund companies (including Europe's oldest, Odey Asset Management), and private clients.Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

GaryI can't see why anyone would only want to see the positives. Every company has negatives. Only a complete fool focuses on positives and ignores negatives. So I will be surrounded with intelligent investors whereas you will be sitting in the corner on your own wondering why your hero Brian Marber hadn't arrived.

With current issued stock we need 51.5p to make the 1bln. I don't see .CA taking up their warrents until we are in the 60s or 70s, some time yet I think.

Will hopefully see you Gary at the agm and then you can explain how you do your charts.I would suggest though not doing charts is better than doing them but doing them all wrong which is your method. And don't quote Brian Marber or whatever he is called. You certainly don't follow his charting methods correctly.
