zztop - dividend? If they survive, there's the small matter of full field development to fund. Let's say, £30bn or so? Even if they farm out most of the two main areas (Greater Lancaster and Greater Warwick) they'll want to keep at least some skin in the game.

Zztop , thats a difficult one , asset reserve based perhaps , however active producing wells and daily production ie cash income ergo funding etc make ourselves very different .
Also our focus is massively condensed in one particular area

I doubt Dr T has actually invested 11MM in here... although good luck to him if that what his share is now worth.... He should be aligned with us PI's!

I'd be interested to know how much of his own cash he did use to initially fund it up front in 2004.. It's not clear from the float documents... Other than that it was between Dr T and a private investor...

It was mentioned in Lundin Petroleum's 2018 Feb CMD Webcast. I've just checked - the webcast is still available. The exploration guy covers the rationale. Well name Rolvsnes 16/1-28S horizontal well/DST. IIRC drilling now, recent spud (Edit: actually 3/Apr), about a 3 month drill and DST. If successful then they will submit development plan to NPD and produce through Edvard Grieg facility (not Alvheim - brain fade on my part!)
