05/4/2024 22:16 | Plat I once knew the owners of AAZ quite well and I spent many happy years in Baku. Lovely country, especially the mountains regions of Gabala. Nice people. | borderterrier1
05/4/2024 20:01 | Not enough volume today, was just shuffled around in the spread. I sold last week on the bounce and added to FRES and AAZ today. Got a feeling they'll return before this gets another bid. | plat hunter
05/4/2024 19:55 | Plat Based on the "information to hand" a short month ago, I genuinely thought this had turned the corner. So did many of us including someone I have always relied on for "constructive advice" about this. But as I have said before, this behaves irrationally........ and it's always been suspiciously "leaky". I'm not sure if that's intentional or not but in any event, I suspect it will be to favor the Ceo and management, unfortunately not the shareholders. | borderterrier1
05/4/2024 19:06 | Bloomberg Blowout Jobs Data Raise Chance of Delayed, Fewer Fed Rate Cuts. US payrolls rose in March by the most in nearly a year. | dickbush
05/4/2024 18:40 | approximately 10 X the price at which Gordon Brown sold it in the Brown Bottom Chinese central Bank was the largest buyer then, joined by many other central banks Chinese Central Bank largest buyer today | septblues
05/4/2024 18:31 | It's quite tempting to take a punt on these and make a quick dbl before it fades away. I found this stock so stressful when it just fizzled out and slumped over and over for years. Nearly 2 years later we're at the same level. These are an outright gamble based on the fact that all parties are fully aware they've run out of working capital to keep greasing the wheels | creditcrunchies
05/4/2024 18:28 | 2150 is the price we're selling into at the moment | plat hunter
05/4/2024 18:27 | That was a quick Juxta BT, you trying to get some before the RNS 🤣👍 | plat hunter
05/4/2024 18:06 | LLB. IMO you are wasting your time posting snippets of useful info. I honest believe now that this is a catastrophe of alarming proportions unless it is just another "well orchestrated plan" as the Hum mouthpiece told us in post in post 4549 six years ago. I said then, (as others did) that this was being "manipulated". But now, I'm inclined to believe that this is now a case of the blind leading the blind and nobody, not even the Ceo and "management" or banks know what is going on. | borderterrier1
05/4/2024 17:39 | POG 2,325 an ounce, fantastic for us to sell into, HUM BOD taking their own sweet time to get this latest banana skin dealt with and update shareholders.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
05/4/2024 13:17 | Sorry, I meant straight from the horses a$$, not mouth. I wonder why the Hum Pied Piper, Frank Campbell would say that (post 4549)? My info. is the real deal, it came from a guy who I met while I was sipping my G and T in a wine bar in Mayfair. But joking apart and in fairness to all the long time shareholders, this is disturbing and does cause me some real concern now. Gold at all time highs and this share price is where it is today? Please excuse my French, BUT WHAT THE FK IS GOING ON HERE? Does ANYONE actually know....... including the "management?" The sudden spike was too short lived if things really are "under control" so, it's a "roll the dice" guess now? Pathetic really. Hopefully, the "management" here will be held accountable for their abysmal efforts. | borderterrier1
05/4/2024 07:12 | Probably. Metamix. A new concept in bovine excreta. | backmarker
05/4/2024 07:06 | Mixed your metaphors. | sleveen
05/4/2024 06:26 | We'll all I can say is that if the bears have been trying to create a situation for big players to buy cheap shares then at some point the bulls need to take over to create a situation where the same big players can sell at a big profit. Otherwise what would have been the point of it all ? | backmarker
05/4/2024 01:07 | Kennyp52 Here's a bit of real insider information for you......straight from the horses mouth! "The bears are in control and whether this has been a well orchestrated plan to continue to pressurise the share price to breaking point so that the larger players can buy in at a lower level, well that's the game we are involved in. Rest assured as Hum continues to reach milestone targets and hit gold production figures, this wonderful investment will grow and grow and grow." Hummmmmm.......now where have I heard that before.............. | borderterrier1
05/4/2024 00:00 | Kennyp52 Certainly not. These days, I don't believe anybody has any real "insider trading information" certainly not with a stock that behaves as irrationally as this has done over the last several years. But you must admit (especially if you believe the Ceos latest video here) things are starting to look as though they are at last taking shape? But then, Plasybryn said the same thing a few weeks ago (post 13018, insider trading?) and it dropped like a rock. Any idea why? Completely irrational behavior. Then it spiked up 28% three days later? Why? Over the years, that routinely occurs here.....especially when there is a pull back. | borderterrier1
04/4/2024 22:54 | BT1 .. you posting you have insider trading info ? 🤷a | kennyp52
04/4/2024 20:16 | Gold Miners: Time To Catch Up With Record Bullion Run?Fresnillo is leading FTSE 100 gainers today, but this year the precious metal miner has lost 9% of its value even as a 10% rally in spot gold has catapulted the yellow metal to a string of fresh record highs. In varying degrees, this poor showing has been a common feature across the whole gold mining industry, which has broadly lagged behind the surge in the gold price over the past year. At this point, some investors say conditions are forming for a catch-up.Marco Mencini, head of research at Plenisfer Investments, says a profit margin contraction linked to a rise in production costs has kept gold stocks lagging, but believes that peak inflation for the sector might now be behind us.Add to that cheaper valuations compared to historical standards and the potential for well-diversified operators to sell high-cost extraction activities to improve margins, and the case for a bullish view on the sector strengthens. The sector's enterprise value is now at 5.5 forward core earnings, well below the historical average of 7-8 times. The last time this happened about a decade ago, when a top gold ETF surged over 60% vs a 25% rally in gold price, Mencini notes."We believe that there is potential for appreciation of the producing companies towards a more correct alignment with the price of gold," he concludes. | jedi k

03/4/2024 22:27 | What about Ariana Resources AAU. About to have 2 mines producing albeit 23.5% ownership plus large JORC Resource in Salinbas project and more. No debt. Dividend payer from 2025 seems likely. Very undervalued. | plasybryn |
