23/3/2024 15:34 | Long way off asset stripping by a bank yet, generally there's a period of default first. As you say given they've already got it, why ruin your international reputation just so you can stuff over a few minority shareholders in Europe and north America. Mafia games here are stuff of dreamers, pure fantasy | plat hunter
23/3/2024 14:35 | #PH, as far as problems go in mining it should be a relatively easy fix, if Corica cannot allocate more men/machines, our back up miner can hopefully back fill the gaps until they can but the timing could not be any worse could it for cash flows.. The question is how supportive Coris will be and at what price, even if it is just delaying/deferring the start of interest/capital payments by a month or 2, would they really want to take it all, or prefer to just let HUM get on with it and bring it home..? 41% is a big enough slice as it is and over time their dividends will be fantastic on that holding, but investment banks are not known for their charity (often).. | laurence llewelyn binliner
23/3/2024 11:54 | Cheers LLB, Corica are also very new in Guinea so staff and fleet possibly very thin on the ground from a starting point of zero. It's entirely possible that HUM have had their fill with the Corica's rep in Guinea, I mean yes there's challenges but HUM are not investing in the growth of Corica's business into a new jurisdiction and maybe risking a week or two of walks out might be a final desperate attempt to get group heads of business around a table. I doubt Corica will walk away and never come back and I doubt HUM will be looking to straight out fire Corica. So I expect concessions from both sides, which given the public mud slinging to date, I'd equally expect a public declaration of resolution for the purpose of saving face from both parties. What those concessions are will go much further to demonstrate blame and accountability much more succinctly than the current exchange via social media platforms. Operationally, I don't thinks it's the biggest banana skin HUM have faced recently but it's certainly the most excruciatingly embarrassing one. | plat hunter
23/3/2024 08:54 | Average gold price Q1 to date is 2051. The first ever quarter that average prices have been above 2k | plat hunter
23/3/2024 06:59 | What in your thinking would make this head north very quickly BT? Where is that hint of optimism coming from? | whitehunter
22/3/2024 17:08 | On X - short promotional video. At the Yanfolila Gold Mine in Mali, the development of the Komana East Underground Mine is progressing well.Commercial production from the +278 Koz at 3.94g/t Reserve operation is expected in H2-2024. | plasybryn
22/3/2024 16:40 | Actually Chesty, you'll like this.. I recently bought a few of Cora the other day, just so I'll ten bag before you break even 🤣🤣 | plat hunter
22/3/2024 16:39 | Probably won't go bust like Cora though Chesty 20p down to 1.5p OUCH! | plat hunter
22/3/2024 15:16 | Bargepole stock. Going the same way as PUR? | papillon
22/3/2024 14:35 | Any false rises just being dumped into. Doesn't look good! | chesty1
22/3/2024 14:21 | I expect a solution one way or the other by Monday. The market seems to think so, too. As for Coris being in the dark? Well Ernie Nutter must have been when he put a million Dollars into the offer at 11.26p just two months ago. | dickbush
22/3/2024 14:13 | Weekend negotiations and a resolution PDQ for Monday morning would be good, the door is open for a restart, just find some middle ground and we can all carry on into the pay dirt.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
22/3/2024 13:55 | Platt, I'd say any share price movement is more likely to be static or downward until news is out. I do think both sides will be keen to find a solution as local Corica personel probably want to work and get paid so there might be pressure on Corica. But until news is out of a return to work I can't see the market marking this higher. | temujiin
22/3/2024 13:45 | 👍 Highley1. BEN has been "terminally ill" for a long time. It won't be long now before it finally "kicks the bucket" | papillon
22/3/2024 13:31 | Another AIM mining fiasco, there's a long list now!!! Bens Creek will be next!! | highley1
22/3/2024 13:22 | Volume slowing, RSI raising and tick up on the bid might be sign that we're going back up. | plat hunter
22/3/2024 13:04 | temujiin We already know that these guys are very good at keeping shareholders in the dark. Some of this maybe another ploy leading to Del Boy pulling another rabbit out of his hat. Only he will know, time will tell and we will see. | borderterrier1
22/3/2024 12:18 | It looks like HUM is going the same way as PUR. | papillon
22/3/2024 12:06 | Just had another thought re hoping Coris can help sort this out. As HUMSs biggest SH, and having effectively, control if they wanted to exercise it, they will almost certainly know what the situation was re Corica, and presumably were OK with HUMs decisions. The other option, they were kept in the dark, I suspect would go down very badly. | temujiin
22/3/2024 10:16 | LLB, Coica have nowt to gain doling HUM over. Hypothetically Coris do. Obv there is no evidence either have that intention and it probably just a contractual dispute thats got way out of hand. | temujiin
22/3/2024 10:11 | #1Knocker, correct, it is time for cool heads and mediation, hopefully Coris can smooth things over, reach a compromise and we can push on.. Always a risk using an outside contractor whom you are totally dependent on, 1 day they can bend you over the barrel.. Sooo close to pay dirt, BOD sort it out FGS.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
22/3/2024 10:02 | Time is not on Hum's side. When you are as deep in debt as Hum, its not wise to play 'let's see who blinks first'. | 1knocker |
